bmg Posted November 20, 2018 #1 Posted November 20, 2018 As bitcoin prices plummet there are many different opinions in which how people feel in this historic moment for btc. Some people are welcoming the drop excited to buy btc at such a low price while others are very upset about watching the money they invested disappear before there very eyes. November 19,2018 is said to be like the wall street crash of 87 Personally im on the side that wants btc to go up in price. I have only paid little money out of pocket because I usually earn it. So when i go to withdraw or cash out and the price is down like it has been its hare for me to make anything off of it. How does it affect you are you? I'd love to hear what you all have to say about this https://news.bitcoin.com/fear-loathing-and-opportunity-how-crypto-traders-are-handling-the-drop
blueprints Posted November 20, 2018 #2 Posted November 20, 2018 Oh man I really never think much about investors and how much more the price changing impacts them financially. But i wonder why they dont sell or pull out the moment they see the price drop below a certain point to minimize how much they lose.
williamshennie9 Posted November 20, 2018 #3 Posted November 20, 2018 I have lost a lot of money due to the drop, but i am confident that the price will increase again. If it goes to $2000, then I'll buy many bitcoins, otherwise, I am holding and not selling or buying at the moment.

No stop loss and the inability to accept a loss in their holdings; ie greed. They rather risk losing it all for a chance to return to their initial balance. Well the unseasoned traders anyway. But investing is a gamble anyway, can go either way. All the knowledge in TA can only get you so far. In the end there is someone behind the scenes determining the result of the coin flip.

The majority of bitcoin (I am not sure about the other coins) are owned by a few individuals, which can effectively control the price. If they want the price to go down, they will be selling off a large chunk of their bitcoins, and at the same time, they have the power to make the price go up. We just have to hope they increase the price for us that hold bitcoin.
Snike Posted November 23, 2018 #6 Posted November 23, 2018 So many traders are like "In 2017 it dropped too and then almost went to 20k$" but I personally dont think things look too good for btc... Lets hope for the best in the feature!
Kate Posted November 24, 2018 #7 Posted November 24, 2018 Well i am almost a lot affected here since if i sell my Bitcoin's now that i had bought before then i would be loosing around 200$ for that but i still sell on LocalBitcoins so that's no problem for me since i can take huge fees and also increase the price of Bitcoin hence buyer gets less.
KiXxnTRiXx Posted November 24, 2018 #8 Posted November 24, 2018 Most people are pulling out, which makes the market drop even lower. People tend to do that when money is loss, and i dont blame them, but they also need to be aware that their actions will also affect such outcome.
Xantys Posted November 24, 2018 #9 Posted November 24, 2018 A well-known rule says 'Trend is your friend'. So I guess a decent trader must be making tons of money with this classic trending cryptomarket since it picked at the beginning of the year. Most of us are not active traders so we just hodl
