ernio Posted November 23, 2018 #26 Posted November 23, 2018 stake will not shutdown even if the price of BTC is getting lower
Xantys Posted November 23, 2018 #27 Posted November 23, 2018 Significant crypto price drop could probably lead to things like higher minimum withdrawal, less moderator daily budget and fewer giveaways. But the business should be alive because gambling is so natural to human beings
Kate Posted November 25, 2018 #28 Posted November 25, 2018 A gambling site fully depends on the Gamblers losses and wins. If the Gamblers loose then that money is used to fund different activities of the Site like giveaways , challenges , Twitter and Instagram Giveaways and also its used to fund the running of the site like hosting provider funds , support team etc. So we all saw this drop of Bitcoin which was huge and its sad to see it. Gamblers when they gamble they usually gamble in terms of Bitcoin ( In bitcoin casino's ) and they usually gamble like 0.01 BTC ( High rollers ) or more and they bust it so that money will be used to fund the activities of the site right ? But if the site depends on Bitcoin in fiat terms lets take an example like : Before the drop of Bitcoin ( price is 7000$ ) gamblers would gamble like 0.01 BTC or maybe 0.001 BTC or the amount they wish so 0.01 BTC in that time would be around maybe 50$ and now after the drop ( price is 4000$ ) the gamblers still gamble the same amount but the price of 0.01 BTC is now 25$. So i guess the example makes it clear. Will a gambling site be highly affected if the price of Bitcoin dropped ? What do you think ? In my opinion yes , because the salaries for Support team and the website hosting are given in terms of fiat and not Bitcoin in my opinion so if it drops and gamblers still gamble the same amount it will affect the money they get in terms of fiat.
jualid Posted November 25, 2018 #29 Posted November 25, 2018 I saw Edward explain it before about will it affect a stake or not, maybe you can search it.
