Kate Posted November 20, 2018 #1 Posted November 20, 2018 Wallets a very common software or thing that is used to store our beloved crypto coins. Different coins have different wallets of their own some wallets also allow staking and minting a way to earn more of the same coins. Most of the wallets have some uniqueness out of the other ones like for eg : Coinbase and Blockchain allows transfer without fee if the receiver is a Coinbase or Blockchain wallet users. Our wallets are always kept secure and we all try to keep it as secure as possible but sometimes that security hits us back on our face. If we loose a device or a code which is used to access the wallet then we would've to say goodbye to all our bitcoins. I have had this once before. Back then i wanted to start Staking rather than mining so i checked on POS list which was the top coin and there were many choices but i picked a coin called HyperStake for some reason. I downloaded the wallet and i had bought some coins from Cryptopia. And i had generated a wallet address and deposited everything. So i planned to Stake the next day and i let the wallet sync. The next day i saw the wallet didn't sync fully so i waited and waited and then i checked all the solutions nothing had worked so i had to say goodbye to the coins. P.S : The amount i lost was 37.86$ So have anyone of you ever lost a wallet which had coins ?
williamshennie9 Posted November 20, 2018 #2 Posted November 20, 2018 Luckily this has never happened to me before. I am still new with wallets and the technicalities behind it. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone. Luckily it was only $37. I've heard stories of people losing wallets containing 100 bitcoins...
