The problem with Big poker freeroll registrations.

Everytime there is a big tourney like $20,000 freeroll, the site gives error and we can't register.
In 5 min all the seats are full and we can't do anything about it.
Can someone explain what's going on?

I think its just lag due to the number of people trying to get in. 
My advice:
get in stake poker 5min early, switch tab between omaha and tournament to refresh the list or manually go down to find the 20K table, click it once and wait for the promt and register, dont click anywhere or refresh.
