Stream of Hope

Tonight I wait beneath the glowing screen,
Chat scrolling fast, where dreams are rarely seen.
Eddie’s voice cuts through the endless night,
A spark of hope, a flicker of light.

I’ve wagered time, I’ve wagered faith,
Rode every loss, embraced each wraith.
Still in my chest, belief remains—
That luck remembers loyal pain.

Coins may fall and balances sway,
But hope respins with each new play.
If fortune calls a single name,
Let it be mine, ignite the flame.

So here I stand, calm, alive,
jackrick99, still ready to strive.
Tonight, dear stream, if fate feels kind,
Let me win—and rest my mind.
