If you need to wager to win...

I know not everyone will read this, so that is good, for me. Lol. I never thought I would ever share this one, as it is the only strat I know that really really works. So why am I not a Btc billionaire rn? Because this isnt used in everyday application. There is only one time to use it. And i never find myself needing it. Its been 2 years since Ive used it, so I think its ok to share, since I probably wont use it ever again.

The only reason we, E and I, came up with this, was there was a raffle E wanted to get in to. The online casino told him he needed to wager at least 300 Btc to be eligible. He had only wagered 70 Btc at the time, and that was after depositing every day, 2 or 3 times a day for about 6 months. Now, I am not for abusing online casinos, nor do I condone anything even remotely resembling possible abuse. I dont believe this violates any kind of anything a casino would deem "bad". This is only for you to keep in your back pocket, if you ever find yourself needing to wager an ungodly amount of Btc in a short period of time.

Its important you know this. The raffle wasnt just some dinky casino raffle, where you win 10 free spins or 20 mbtc, or anything stupid like that. The raffle was to be every week, with a 1st place prize of 1.5 Btc. I believe 2nd place was 1 Btc, 3rd was 750 mbtc, 4th was 325 mbtc, 5th-10th was 100 mbtc. The "consolation" prize was 25 free spins, but each bet of the free spins was 10 mbtc per spin. And if Im not mistaken, they were 25 mbtc per spin at the beginning.

So you can see the motivation. And this raffle was supposed to be weekly for a very long time. E just needed to wager 230 more Btc. This is easy when you have a billion dollars. And E might have more Btc than the average player. But hes not rich, and does not have Btc to lose for fun. He did lose $2500.00. That was ok though because the raffle winnings would cover that and then some in the short term. Long term, it should have paid that times 10 or 50, lol, it was way worth it, either way.

No matter what in roulette, European Roulette, the house only has 2.7% advantage. So no matter what you bet, say you think you can just bet all the numbers, the only problem is, a straight number pays 36:1, not 37:1, which is where you would get all of your money back, but 36:1 still leaves 1 bet you lose, thats the 2.7%, 100/37 = 2.7%.

Heres what we did: Every number is covered, some more than others. We knew we would lose some money, we just tried to "offset" that by winning bigger than the average win. Even though you can see where this is unevenly bet, there is a very fine bet amount that makes this work. The bet amount cant exceed the loss amount by more than 10%. And really, you have to bet this pattern to see how it works, and what wiggle room you have for loss. We bet 5X the single chip bet on the whole board on 0, this was the "offset" bet. You never want to use words like 'hope' or 'lucky' in gambling, especially in regards to strats, but if we got 'lucky', we would have a few more wins, and hopefully break even or slightly better. And if not, fine, but E was in the raffle. After working out the little kinks, we bet table max, which was 1 Btc.

You dont want to do this for fun, and you will probably never need it. And E did lose $2500.00. BUT, if you need to win a contest where whoever wagers the most wins, use this, when the amount you will win is greater than you could potentially lose. For the $230,000.00 E wagered, he only lost $2,500.00, and if my calculations are correct, thats only like 1.12%, not the 2.7% you would lose betting every number.

So glad it worked out for you!  But you left out the most important part of the story - How much did E win from the raffle?

And please don't tell me the casino went broke shortly after the raffles started!

Always enjoy the stories Badger!

My only real gripe about roulette at Stake, no split, corner, or short street bets. Ugh. Changes my whole game.

Ok, wry, I couldnt put an exact figure on the whole 'experiment/venture'. But I do know E won 750 mbtc, 350 mbtc, at least 5 100 mbtc, at least 10 rounds of 20 spins @ 0.01 per spin.

I was even able to finagle my way in to 10 drawings, being friends with support there. The first raffle I won the free spins, and right when i started, I was like, "oh, these probably arent spins at the standard 0.0001 per spin". Lol, and they werent, they were 0.025 per spin.

They didnt go bankrupt shortly after, but from what i gathered from talking to support, they should still be going on now. They arent. They did do the raffles for about 6 months. My best guess, E made roughly 8 Btc, super give or take 1 Btc. He lost roghly 2.5 Btc, I had only stated in dollars. It was a good deal. Also, one of the raffles I won was a drawing for 3 even awesomer raffles, which E bought from me 150 mbtc. That was when we were in Vegas, if you dont recall, I won 3 Btc, which E got 1.5 of, so that win, total, paid for the 2.5 Btc roulette loss.

1 of the free spins, of the many many many spins, was 5 pigs on Money Farm, that was 1 Btc, just 1 spin.

And, Imaginary, there arent wagering contests at Stake, yet.

I read it, and thanks for sharing this kind of strats.

The payout seems to be 36x if you bet the correct one number.

If you bets 33 numbers, you would get payout 36x

(if one of your number choice was picked),

(minus with 3 because you didn't bet 3 numbers (it was your profit = 33x -> (36-3 = 33x)),

(and the chance of losing was 3:36, or 1:12) which means it really low chance to lose.

Reminds me that we really should implement split bets on our platform..

Edward ,  don’t tease us if it isn’t so!😭

I would be so hooked ... (echoes hooked)

@badger I know, but I was talking about for just play in general. I like to be able to freely put the chips between numbers, because of all the different payouts that become possible.

Lmfao Edward, yes!! You are absolutely correct!! And then make wagering contests.

This is not a hedge strat for winning and managing loss.
