Unregister From Tournament

Hi, if I have joined a tournament where the buy-in is $20, but the tournament hasn’t started, then I decide to unregister, do I get the money back?

I read the Refund policy and it did state that refund will happen if the tournament is cancelled before it commences. However, it doesn’t mention anything about if a player wants to unregister. I was told that I would lose the whole buy in amount if I unregister. Is that true?

No, of course course not. As long as as you unregister before the tournament start 100% of your buy-in goes back to you immediately
