Ibbu Posted December 16, 2025 #1 Posted December 16, 2025 In the Indian region chat, there is currently only one language supported by the moderators. While moderators are available, a serious issue exists. India is a multilingual country, and many users—especially from South India—do not understand or speak Hindi. Our mother tongues include English, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu. However, Indian region chat moderators often force users to communicate in a language they do not know, which creates confusion and discomfort. As South Indians, it is unreasonable to expect us to use a language we don’t understand. I kindly request Stake to consider introducing language-based moderators for the Indian region to better support users from different linguistic backgrounds. I am from South India and speak four or more languages, and I would be happy to assist users from my region if given the opportunity. I believe I would be a suitable candidate for this role. Thank you for your understanding and consideration. @Stake Casino @Eddie @stake ceo @stake forum spaceoddtiddy and arcr7 2
arcr7 Posted December 23, 2025 #3 Posted December 23, 2025 I completely agree with this. India is a multilingual country, and expecting everyone in the India chat to communicate only in hindi is not realistic or fair. Many users, especially from South India, are far more comfortable in other languages and forcing them to use a language they don’t know only leads to confusion and frustration. I can personally speak tamil, malayalam, english, and hindi, and even with that, it’s clear that users who don’t know hindi are being left out or muted unnecessarily. People who are multilingual can manage, but that shouldn’t be a requirement to participate in an India chatroom. Users should be allowed to speak other Indian languages or at the very least english, which is widely understood across the country. Introducing language based moderators or relaxing the language restrictions would make the chat far more inclusive and welcoming. I’ve been on Stake for almost two years now and would also be happy to help with moderation if needed, especially in supporting users from different linguistic backgrounds. @NemanjaPi spaceoddtiddy 1
