Forum Mods vs Stake Mods

Hey guys

I was not sure whether to post this here, or in the Stake Discussion section, so please move this topic if it should go there. I've noticed that all Stake chatroom moderators are also moderators on the forum. However, I've seen some new forum moderators, who are not mods on Stake (they do not have the M next to their name). Is this a new thing, or is my browser just not showing the "M" next to the forum moderators username?

I know there are multiple mods in the forums here that are mods because they speak the language. The forum has some international sections. They probably arent mods on stake for that exact reason.

Forum mods are usually helping out and on a trial/on their way to become chat room mods as well  Snike has a point too, the language sections also require a bit more maintenance.

Its like vestibule training where the company first trains the employees on a similar task and see how they perform and give suggestions.

Yes, everyone is correct, forum mods are in some aspect just future mods on trial. The forum has a higher maintenance requirement so we need more of the mod powers over here. Closing this topic now that we have an answer.
