When did you place your first official bet with a bookmaker?

I remember it well. It was September 1, 2000. I walked into a bookmaker’s office, spent a few minutes reading the betting rules posted on the wall, and then told the cashier what I wanted to bet on in the Brazilian league.

It was exciting, with a touch of romance… That was probably when a different life began, and from then on, thoughts about betting were in my head every day 🙂 How long ago that was , more than 25 years have passed. And for about 20 years now, I’ve been betting only with online bookmakers. 

Does anyone remember it the same way I do?

My first bet, I placed it online when I was studying in Australia, it is around 12 years ago, just say, many Aussie like gambling

I still remember mine too, that first bet feeling really sticks with you. Things changed a lot moving online, but that excitement never fully goes away.
