DviouS Posted November 29, 2018 #1 Posted November 29, 2018 Over 100,000 ATM machines, now let you purchase bitcoin with your debit card in the USA alone.... They would only be doing something like this , or something that was going to be around for years and years to come... This is the beginning of the revolution if you ask me... full swing coming into affect "Debit card Bitcoin purchase via regular ATMs are now a reality in the United States. This development foregrounds the recent partnership between Genmega and LibertyX. The collaboration allows people to buy Bitcoin from numerous cash machines using their debit cards." I think I shall try this... or at least check out the price of bitcoin bought at the ATM... who knows... could be the best deal yet
bmg Posted November 29, 2018 #2 Posted November 29, 2018 The only time I have ever bought bitcoin and used money ot of my own pocket has been at a bitcoin atm. sometimes the fees are a little high but its worth the convenience.
DviouS Posted November 29, 2018 Author #3 Posted November 29, 2018 I believe it... I feel like until you have a set spot you finally get everything worked out with online, to buy from.... I can remember spending hours trying to get ahold of some coins.. and I remember thinking... this is just insane stupid. Who the hell wants to waste this much of their time trying to get ahold of some bitcoin. This is the type of shit that is going to push people away from wanting to mess with them. When you decide to buy some bitcoin at times... you are buying in, on a low drop..... and if you spend hours trying to get ahold of some coin... the price can change dramatically, and all of a sudden you are now trying to buy some bitcoins that you are going to miss out on your profit swing Seems legit to me !
chrisconn63 Posted November 29, 2018 #4 Posted November 29, 2018 ive always wanted to see and try a bitcoin atm but never have as of yet. guess its time to google the one closest to me. so is it a simple process or what?
DviouS Posted November 29, 2018 Author #5 Posted November 29, 2018 Apparently so.... I am eager to try it myself =)) Even if I don't purchase any, I at least want to see how it works, and see the prices, and the ease of things in action. When you google the BTC atm's near you it's crazy how many their are lol..
chrisconn63 Posted November 29, 2018 #6 Posted November 29, 2018 that would be awesome if you just swipe your card and enter your wallet address and bam done. but thats probably not the case. and wow i just googled it and theres one literally across the street lmfao. it says theres one in the gas station i always go to. guess ill be asking about it in the morning.
jualid Posted November 29, 2018 #7 Posted November 29, 2018 Wow 100,000 ATM in the USA alone. I hope my country also get that bitcoin ATM, it's like only 1-2 bitcoin ATM here and it's very far from my area.
chrisconn63 Posted November 29, 2018 #8 Posted November 29, 2018 oh well i lied, thats a normal atm i seen. closest one to my location is 21 km away. hmmm
Etude Posted November 29, 2018 #9 Posted November 29, 2018 I have yet to use a Bitcoin ATM to purchase Bitcoins yet. There are a few Bitcoin ATM here but it is nowhere nearby me as it is in another state.
Kate Posted November 29, 2018 #10 Posted November 29, 2018 Buying Bitcoins from an ATM is actually useless and a waste of time unless there is a way for the transaction to confirm quick ( Take it from a person who tried this ). I would much rather suggest you to buy from LocalBitcoins it's kinda annoying in ATM's because they have to confirm so many shit and it takes a lot of time than how you can do it through LocalBitcoins.
williamshennie9 Posted November 29, 2018 #11 Posted November 29, 2018 Unfortunately there are no bitcoin ATM's in my country. I wish we had it though, it would be so handy to easily buy and sell my coins. Hopefully one day I'll be able to use a bitcoin ATM
davinmark Posted November 29, 2018 #12 Posted November 29, 2018 In my country there is no BTC Atm i wanted to try how is the machine going i always use my ATM banking and then exchange the currency into BTC
