Hey everyone. TKO here

So today I got rewarded my first ever mute. And I deserved it.

This dude "Jjdjjdjms" started acting like a prick in the chat. I try to be nice here. I just shared an Eminem song and said its one of the lesser known song which somehow managed to get this son of a gun mad. He says "Its 122 million views. You're an idiot." so I try to explain to him that "lesser known" is a relative term and that looking at Em's other songs, and tell me its not lesser known. Even after 122 million views a lot of people don't know about the song. This dude then goes ahead and calls me mainstream and uses profanity.

This got me super riled up and I sent a big message all in capitals, knowing well what it will result in. He then proceeds to send me a DM from his alt (I ignored his main account) after I am muted. Here is a screenshot

I am very sorry for causing inconvenience to the chat. I want to apologize to @Irena, to @maverick528, to @ThugStream, to @rack001 who were online at the moment.

Its a well deserved ban.

I just want to say that this kind of toxicity is not required in the community. Please don't pick fights for trivial reasons. I shouldnt have lost my temper either but I'm a Stan and people still talk crap and that ticks me off.

Be kind people. Be happy and make others happy too. Please. We've got to make it a good world.

I was lucky enough to only get a 1 hour mute. And I genuinely am sorry for what I did.

PS. Being a high roller doesn't give people the right to be bad in chat

I see you in the chat, and I was just looking at it because I don't know single thing. Sorry hearing about that, but you should hold your temper next time. Human always make mistake, so you take this lesson to the next days.

Well, I know you are a good guy that want to entertain people in the chat. I hope you didn't do same mistake in the next future. 

Don't worry, it was only 1 hour mute. It was enough to reflect about what did you do wrong. And you already apologize in here. It was a great things to do first!

I agree. Looking back to it, I should have just muted. But I hate it when someone doubts my loyalty hahahha

I'll keep it in mind the next time! I know what it feels like to be muted (it sucks haha) so next time I'll just take the road taken more often ;)

This is very true. Some highrollers are very kind and nice people to talk to. And some people who become high rollers are also kind. However some are just rude and vent their anger by blaming others and being toxic.

100% brother. I think talking about depression and spreading awareness regarding mental health is essential. Talking about it gives me more control over myself. Today wasn't a good day for my emotions anyway. I ran out of one of my meds with morning so I was having mood swings anyways (I think I might have told you :D) so I lost my temper. Won't happen again I can promise!

Stan is a song by Em talking about a real life incident. It's about a mentally unstable fan. Stan (the fan) was very dedicated to Em and in his honor every dedicated Em fan is called a Stan.

But the song I was talking about was: Yelawolf - Best Friend ft. Eminem

Well next time just send what you want to in PM but I guess being rude in pm is mute able but it's not in stake chat so I don't guess so. Well just ignore the haters next time ;) .

Well, I'm glad you took this situation well. Yeah, online arguments with anonymous people is really not worth it. Someone could argue with me as much as they want by saying 1+1=3, but I need to choose whether I will argue back and say the answer is 2. When people are anonymous, they tend to disregard the feelings of others and quickly forget that there is another human being on the other side of the computer.

It's best to just ignore these players and not get into pointless arguments where you cause yourself more stress than anything else.

First @TKO I gotta say I like the spirit of your post.  Second, sorry you were muted, you appear to be a reasonably constructive member of the community.

I never really understood the all caps rule, but they are serious about it, but if you're gonna get muted here, that's probably the thing to get muted for.

Not that you need my advice, but I've found it really helpful to mostly not care, and I mean not at all, what random people say in chat.  I've found many often try to make themselves look smart or clever and have never regretted letting it go and not responding.  /Ignore also helps a lot if there is someone you've found can't say much constructive.

i was muted my first or second day at Stake .  Mav muted me for caps  and I've been muted a few times after that lol it happens . sorry you got muted your a cool person and i hope you never get muted again .

I will say that I greatly underestimated the power of this feature. I thought all it did was block out PM's, but it blocks the ignored user out completely in the chat, you don't see then in the chat, you don't see tips that they send, and they obviously can't PM you. I strongly suggest trying this if you have users that are annoying you or get you worked up :)
