That is not possible and will never be possible, because it would be abused on so many levels. 

You have "ignore" button in case you don't want to see someone's messages in the chat. And you can reverse it anytime you want here:

And if you think somebody really deserves a mute for breaking the rules, you can always contact any Mod, or Live Support too.

Remember that sometimes Mods are not active at a given time in the english chat but maybe can be found in some of the chat rooms, all the chat rooms in Stake have one or more specific Mods.

lol. I can already see the dangerous trolls that would come with this  Mods are doing an ok job so players dont need to mute others. That would be abused anyways so nope rather not add this

Doing this will turn stake in one of those CS:GO matches where you meet 4 trolls that just want to kick you. Give someone enough power and be sure that nothing good will get out of it. Also, I don't think that I've seen a moment in a day that at least one mod/support wasn't online, so whenever someone disturbs you, just tag one of them and be sure they'll make the job and will even consider what's best to do with the respective user.

There would be way to many problems caused by  players having the power to mute other players.   Not only would it make things harder for mods and support staff by all the complaints that would come flooding in but also it would give power to players that would take it out of hand and mute players for no reason.   It would be a major mess . However if at any time you or anyone feels that another player is bothering you beyond ignoring them i suggest you contact a mod or I'm sure that one of the awesome support staff could help.

the /ignore :username: function is just like a personal mute function hehe                       
try it if someone is bugging you =P you wont see their chat msgs again!
