Shaniqua Posted December 2, 2018 #1 Posted December 2, 2018 So my thread in the general discussions was deleted by someone a when I posted it like 12 hours ago. I had made a mistake in the title and had left out one word "not", the title read something like this "was there anyone did complete the BJ challenge who tried to do so?" but in reality i wanted it to be ""was there anyone did not complete the BJ challenge who tried to do so?" i tried to go edit it right after i made it, but was not possible to do so. also the content on the inside of the post was pretty legit imo, it asked how long it took people to complete it, and the time it took for me, as well as it asked out of curiosity if there was anyone who did not complete it who took the time to do so, and to state the reasons why (ie, not understanding, no balance, no time, found out late, etc.) i just dont understand why it was deleted and never got a message from the mod who deleted it. and i lost 7k satoshies... so my account is in negative now... that really upset me... isnt it required to send a msg with the reason when something is removed?
Kate Posted December 2, 2018 #2 Posted December 2, 2018 Yeah I noticed that the moderation message is removed. But I guess it shouldn't have been in general discussions but in Stake discussion because its regarding a challenge of Stake.
williamshennie9 Posted December 2, 2018 #3 Posted December 2, 2018 I'm sure support will chip in here to provide a reason, but from history, I would assume it was deleted because posts discussing challenges are mostly spam, since new ones are published weekly. So I know that posts about the weekly challenges are not generally welcomed on the forum.
Shaniqua Posted December 2, 2018 Author #4 Posted December 2, 2018 *ghasps* accusation of spam?!? im hoping it was due to the wording of the title ... as i know it sounded wrong, not logical because obviously like 200 people entered etc, thus title wouldnt make sense saying "did anyone complete it" which is like... duh!!! but hmmm, i didnt know people consider the challenge discussion to be spam... i guess its taboo,... i gusss what upsets me more is not getting a notification that tells me why the content / rreason of removal
VIP Host Mirela Posted December 2, 2018 VIP Host #5 Posted December 2, 2018 When it comes to deciding whether a post is a spam or not, the title plays one of the least important roles there as it can be easily edited and corrected (which we and mods actually often do when we notice a mistake, etc). From what I see, your post was removed for adding little or no to the discussion. You should have received a system notification message with the explanation for removal of your post, could you, please, check your inbox?

I noticed it last night and reported to @Vladimir.. another thing that I noticed is that the Satoshis people earn from that topic are being deduced from their forum balance but the Satoshis from the replies (posts) are not.. you can see it in the image bellow (and I believe that this is a forum bug, no? lol)

As for the other thing, yeah, as far as I know, that was intentional - those who respond to an afterwards deleted topic won't get any reduction of satoshi. If a single reply gets removed separately then yes, satoshis will be reduced as well. However, tagging @Dan to check and confirm this.
Dan Posted December 2, 2018 #8 Posted December 2, 2018 I disabled the deletion notification last week. It was flooding our system with messages considering how many people content gets moderates due to being meaningless or lousy. Just took a look at your topic and I agree with the decision to have it removed. It was a blatant spam topic. If you cared how many people completed the challenge just count the replies on the giveaway topic.....
VIP Host Mirela Posted December 3, 2018 VIP Host #9 Posted December 3, 2018 Thanks, Dan. Since this has been answered, locking it.
