For example, the latest xmas giveaway hunting 420x? I personally have busted more than i wouldve wanted and still have yet to hit it. Even when i do, ive busted so much already that what i'll get as the payout wouldn't even cover half of it. LOL .. So what about you? Worth or not? And why?
Kjaka Posted December 3, 2018 #2 Posted December 3, 2018 Well I think it's about setting and changing your bet amount, I mean for example if you start betting 100sats, when you get to 420 bets you can change it to 300 sats and bet 420 more, but then again, with plinko it doesn't really work because it sucks! you may not be able to get a 420x on 15000 bets although it has about 1/420 possibility. So I would say, other than plinko, It might worth a try.

It depend on people who doesn't care to bust their balance like me. They want to commemorate xmas at Stake by joining the challenge. But, if you aiming for the profit. You have to be lucky to hit that. I had like 10k-30k rolls at that time to hit 420x because my luck really not in that game. You just need to try again and get that 420x payout. You should to be profit IF you hit it before 1k rolls.

Pandarian Posted December 3, 2018 #13 Posted December 3, 2018 I was hunting 420x from morning till night. First bet with 100 sats for 10k rolls and lost 30k sats without a 420x. Then I tried with 1 sat and I hit 420x twice within 1000 rolls & got me encouraged. Then I tried again with new seed and went upto 17k rolls lossing 70k sats & PC got stucked Was it worth it? Actually giveaway price is like 30k sats. But after completeing we might get 500k. That what I was actually chasing

The minimum bet is 100 satoshi, nothing says you can't bet over that. The strategy is to raise base bet after 1k-5k reds in hopes of when you DO hit that 420x it recoups all losses. As to op, yea I suggest maybe changing seeds, and there is a very high possibility of busting more than you will win in the challenge. But thats what a challenge is... to be challenging lol. If it's just a walk in the park I don't think Stake would want to just hand out free money ya know? I also look at it thinking the losses from everyone covers the payouts. If less people complete challenges, the pool divided to everyone would be more reward.

Snike Posted December 9, 2018 #24 Posted December 9, 2018 Thats simple logical strategies. If you bet 10 satoshi on 10x your profit will be 100 sats. If you now spend more than 100 sats trying to hit it you just double your basebet so you stay in "possible profit". 20 satoshi * 10 = 200 satoshi profit. You can do that in any game. Its a kind of martingale with a slight trick to it.
