The woman who has made the biggest impact in my life is my mother.

She has always been the strongest person I know. Growing up in a small village, life was never easy for us, but she never let us feel how hard things were. She always put her family first and sacrificed so much just to make sure we had food, education, and hope for a better future.

Even when she was tired, she still cared for everyone with love and patience. Her strength, kindness, and resilience inspire me every single day.

Everything I try to achieve in life is because of the values she taught me — hard work, honesty, and never giving up no matter how difficult things get.

I may not say it often, but I am truly grateful for everything she has done for me. She is not just my mother, she is my hero.

Happy Women's Day to the most important woman in my life ❤️

The woman who has made the biggest difference in my life is my mother.

There were times in my life when things felt uncertain and difficult, but she was always there for me. She never judged me for my mistakes and always reminded me that failure is just part of learning.

Her strength and kindness taught me how to stay positive even when life gets tough. She showed me that believing in someone can change their whole future.

Because of her support, I always try to keep going and become a better person every day.

Thank you Mom for your endless love, patience, and encouragement. I will always be grateful.

My message for March 8th:
My aunt Nadia isn’t famous. She has no awards, no big following, no headlines. But she is the woman who quietly changed my entire life.
At 15, my family was struggling financially. My father lost his job, money was tight, and I was ready to give up on university. “Girls can wait,” some said. I was a good student, but reality was winning.
Then Aunt Nadia stepped in. A modest public school teacher, single, no kids, living simply. One evening she came with an envelope — several months of her savings. She told my parents: “Let her continue her studies. I’ll cover registration and books this year. We’ll figure out the rest. She must not stop.”
My parents cried. I cried. She didn’t give speeches about women’s rights. She just acted.
For three years she helped when she could: money when possible, evening math and French lessons, university open days, help with motivation letters, teaching me to stand tall when I doubted myself.
Because of her, I got my baccalaureate with honors, studied computer science (where very few girls were from my area back then), and today I work as a web developer in a Tunis startup. I support my parents now and I’m already saving to help my little cousin who dreams of becoming a doctor.
Aunt Nadia never asked for anything. When I thank her, she just shrugs: “It’s normal, that’s what family does.” But I know it’s not normal — it’s extraordinary. She sacrificed her comfort, time, and money so a shy teenager could believe she deserved more than an early marriage or a dead-end job.
So today, on International Women’s Day, I want to say:
Thank you, Tata Nadia.
Thank you for believing in me when I stopped believing in myself.
Thank you for showing — by action — that one woman can move mountains for another.
You’re not just my aunt. You’re my first feminist, my first hero, and the reason I never give up when someone says “a girl can’t…”
I love you endlessly, and I promise to pass on what you gave me.
Happy March 8th to all the quiet, unstoppable women like you.
(And if this story wins, the prize goes first to her — she deserves it a thousand times more.) ❤️❤️❤️

Ive been chronically ill since I was 9. Im 36 now. My mom has been there every step of the way, quitting her job to take care of me, hospital stays, trips out of states and countries just to try and find a cure, there when I need my many surgeries or words of encouragement...loves me the same. Never has given up on me when I've wanted to give up on myself. Im still struggling. But never once has she complained, never wavered. My true rock. Mother's unconditional love and strength has gotten me through some very dark battles and times. I wouldn't be here without her. One day I only hope I can pay her back in a fraction of what shes done me for me. Im beyond blessed to have a mother like that and I don't know what I did to deserve one thats so selfless and courageous. Shouout to my mom!!! My hero and shoulder when I need 💙💙🙏-21bets

The woman at the bus stop. Gray hair. Frayed coat. She smiled at me once when I was having the worst day of my life. Just smiled. Didn't know me. Didn't need to. I think about her sometimes. Thank you, stranger, for reminding me that kindness doesn't require an introduction.

My mother is the woman who left her hometown behind, carrying both dreams and homesickness, so that I could have a better life. She worked long, exhausting days in a distant city, yet she always hid her fatigue behind warm and loving phone calls. Every sacrifice she made was a silent promise that I would have more opportunities than she ever did. Even when life was hard, she never complained, choosing strength and hope instead. Her courage and unconditional love are the greatest gifts I have ever received. I am forever grateful for the life she built for me through her resilience and sacrifice.

A week ago my grandmother died of cancer. I know she's resting peacefully in heaven watching over me. I'll never forget everything she did for me: delicious meals, taking care of me, being like a second mother to me. I miss you, Mom, and I always will... you're my second mother... my whole life... I love you grandma.... fly like a butterfly ♥

Last summer we were sitting in a small café after the rain. The light from the window fell softly on her face. She looked at me and smiled for no reason. In that moment, the whole world felt quiet. All I could see was her smile. And somehow, that simple moment became one of the most beautiful memories of my life. ❤️

Gender equality is an important issue in today’s world. Women have the same abilities as men, but in many countries, they still face discrimination in education, jobs, and politics. Over the years, many efforts have been made to promote equal rights for women, allowing them to access better opportunities. Women should be given the same respect, salaries, and chances to lead. International Women’s Day is not only a celebration but also a reminder that we must continue working towards gender equality. A fair society is one where both men and women are valued equally.

Love mom. love all women

The woman who has made the deepest, most consistent difference in my life is my mom. She's been my quiet hero through everything: the highs of crypto wins and new adventures, the lows of rough patches, health struggles, and just the daily grind of figuring life out. From the times I've shared publicly—like wanting to help with her meds when things were tight, dreaming of buying her that dream house if a big win ever hit, or simply calling her my hero—she's the one who keeps showing up with unconditional support, wisdom, and that tough-but-loving push to keep going. She's taught me resilience without ever making a big speech about it, just by living it.Mom, if you're somehow seeing this (or if the universe passes the message along): thank you. For everything—the sacrifices, the belief even when I doubted myself, the love that never wavered. You're the reason I try to be better every day. I love you more than words (or moonshots) can say.
