hustler1984 Posted December 5, 2018 #1 Posted December 5, 2018 hi guys.. hustler1984 here #degen4life i just read the requirements for todays challengre and i just wanted to comment on how incredible easy it appears to be at first glance. you simply need 5 straight red cards and the opening car is included... by looking at the winners so far.. it appears to average a win of 3x... this means that it will take approximately 3 times the number of times it takes to get 5 red cards... the odds to get 5 reds.. by shuffling the first card until its red is 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 which is 16... 16 x 3 is 4800... so even if you lost every single bet except hitting the 5 reds the average number of times..youd only need to have 5000 sats... im willing to bet that i accomplish this giveaway withthe forum sats im about to cash out... i will post my results in this topic and i invite you to do the same.. cheers #degen4life
irawk0 Posted December 5, 2018 #2 Posted December 5, 2018 Not sure about your math, but mine is basically: First card is 100% a red since you can shuffle indefinitely. The chance of the next card being red is 1/2, and so on, so 4 cards all being red after the first is (1/2)^4 or 1/16, meaning every 16 hands you should have one where it's all red. Aside from that, the only other difficulty is determining whether the next card is high or low, basically I would suggest going with the highest win % (e.g. going lower when you have a K), since nothing in the challenge requires a certain multiplier.
hustler1984 Posted December 5, 2018 Author #3 Posted December 5, 2018 right thats why i multiply the 16 by 3 because thats the average multipier if the winners... does that make sense?
Dimka27 Posted December 5, 2018 #5 Posted December 5, 2018 I made more than 300 rolls, and he gave me 5 red cards, I think it was difficult
hustler1984 Posted December 6, 2018 Author #6 Posted December 6, 2018 i think i cursed myself here... took me a solid 2 hours
Etude Posted December 8, 2018 #7 Posted December 8, 2018 It was just a matter of patience and choosing the easier odds until the right red cards falls into place, well on the other hand if it were to be get 10 red cards in a row then... 🤤 lol a scary thought of the odd for it.
Shaniqua Posted December 16, 2018 #8 Posted December 16, 2018 lol this was a hard one for me tbh, first one i failed at =( sad day it was
