Kate Posted December 6, 2018 #1 Posted December 6, 2018 Hello , I have one doybt regarding our lovely stake chatbox the thing is different symbols have different emojis regarding as to them like for eg : xd letter shows emoji to us in forum but it's not like this on Stake chat box why ? Why isn't emojis a thing in Stake Chatbox ? Also correct me if It's there in chatbox but I never get an emoji from the symbols I use never. Will this be coming in the redesign that is planned ? Or will it come later. There is only one emoji that works its the heart one and nothing else. Thanks for it !
BLXN Posted December 6, 2018 #2 Posted December 6, 2018 I think it depends on what browser you are using? I could be wrong.
williamshennie9 Posted December 7, 2018 #3 Posted December 7, 2018 It depends on your browser, operating system etc. Stake could add there own emoji set, but seeing that many new systems, on both phone and computers come with emojis, Stake will not have a need to add their own emojis to the chat.
jualid Posted December 7, 2018 #4 Posted December 7, 2018 Yeah no emojis here but if you use google chrome, you can use emoji by right click your mouse and choose Emoji.

Excuse me? I use Google Chrome and never noticed the "right click" thing to choose Emojis.. could you be a bit more clear on how it works? (yeah I am blond and kinda noob, ya know lol)
Etude Posted December 7, 2018 #6 Posted December 7, 2018 Yup a in-house designed emojis specially for Stake chat would be a amazing addition to the chat! Take up the simple challenge, Stake developers!

zeriko Posted December 7, 2018 #12 Posted December 7, 2018 I have and see emojis on my android running chrome so maybe it's your system

I have Windows 10 I think that could be the reason why. I know windows 10 users have emojis built in. @Carollzinha I assume you are also using Windows 7? This would explain why we do not see the option for emojis...

Yeah I am still using Windows 7 and not planning to change it at any time soon lol
Snike Posted December 10, 2018 #18 Posted December 10, 2018 I think emojis would make stake look a little unprofessional and spammy but overall I like emojis so they could be added I see them when someone on mobile posts one
neich Posted December 11, 2018 #19 Posted December 11, 2018 Mobile ftw but ya desk version emojis would be great

It looks like no extensions are required. However, for Windows 7, you need an extension to enable the emojis.
