Stake Chat: Add a “Pin Message” Option for Moderators

Hello everyone,

I’d like to suggest adding a “Pin Message” feature for moderators in Stake chat.

Currently, many chats are constantly flooded with messages like “tip pls”, “rain?”, “any tips?”, etc. Even though these requests are usually not allowed or discouraged, new users either don’t know the rules or ignore them because the rules disappear quickly in the fast-moving chat.

Suggestion:
Add a feature that allows moderators to pin an important message at the top of the chat so it stays visible for everyone.

Example of a pinned message:

⚠️ Please do not ask for tips or rains.
Respect the chat rules. Repeated requests may result in a mute or ban.

Benefits of this feature:

Keeps important rules visible at all times

Helps new users understand chat etiquette immediately

Reduces spam and begging messages

Makes moderation easier and faster

Improves the overall chat experience

Pinned messages could also be used for:

Important announcements

Event information

Giveaway rules

Temporary chat rules during busy periods

I believe this small feature could greatly improve chat quality and reduce unnecessary moderation work.

That would be an awesome feature to use, since we wouldn’t have to spam the same messages all the time. I appreciate that. Maybe they will implement that feature in the future.
