rn11100 Posted March 23 #1 Posted March 23 I’ve been playing on Stake for some time now, and one question always comes to mind — is it really just luck, or does strategy actually matter? At first, I used to play randomly, hoping to hit something big. Sometimes it worked, but most of the time, I ended up losing faster than expected. Recently, I started focusing more on bankroll management and setting limits before playing. I also try to stay disciplined and avoid chasing losses, which has honestly made a big difference. That said, casino games still feel unpredictable. You can follow a strategy, but one bad streak can change everything in seconds. So now I feel like it’s a mix of both — luck plays a huge role, but strategy helps you stay in the game longer. What do you guys think? Do you rely more on luck, or do you have a specific strategy that works for you? Let’s discuss 👇 Hallplay 1
00K7 Posted March 23 #2 Posted March 23 The first rule I set for myself was to never chase losses trying to recover them.
Princesspop67 Posted March 23 #4 Posted March 23 depends on the games I play lul. Slots? Luck. bj, baccarat or any table games? strats same goes for originals
kevxhk1 Posted March 23 #5 Posted March 23 Both matters, each spin is dictated by luck and you can do nothing other than hope for the best, strategy (esp. bankroll management you mentioned) matters in the long run to make the gambling sustainable (i.e. not go bust every other day) and to manage variance ("how big of a swing am I comfortable with") when choosing bet sizes
dangerbablu786 Posted March 23 #6 Posted March 23 75 % luck 25 % Strategies and skills without luck you can't win anything
whiteghost69 Posted March 23 #7 Posted March 23 I'd say what I believe Eddie would say... It's all about luck 😁
SC3M777 Posted March 27 #13 Posted March 27 There is no strategy in long run u will always lose unless you have unlimited balance
vxct Posted March 28 #16 Posted March 28 I think the strategy is important but the lucky always be a part of the bets you do and set limits is a big factor in all this plays
okotemi Posted March 28 #17 Posted March 28 It's always luck and one wrong move also change everything
