I’ve been playing on Stake for some time now, and one question always comes to mind — is it really just luck, or does strategy actually matter?

At first, I used to play randomly, hoping to hit something big. Sometimes it worked, but most of the time, I ended up losing faster than expected.

Recently, I started focusing more on bankroll management and setting limits before playing. I also try to stay disciplined and avoid chasing losses, which has honestly made a big difference.

That said, casino games still feel unpredictable. You can follow a strategy, but one bad streak can change everything in seconds.

So now I feel like it’s a mix of both — luck plays a huge role, but strategy helps you stay in the game longer.

What do you guys think?

Do you rely more on luck, or do you have a specific strategy that works for you?

Let’s discuss 👇

Both matters, each spin is dictated by luck and you can do nothing other than hope for the best, strategy (esp. bankroll management you mentioned) matters in the long run to make the gambling sustainable (i.e. not go bust every other day) and to manage variance ("how big of a swing am I comfortable with") when choosing bet sizes

I think the strategy is important but the lucky always be a part of the bets you do and set limits is a big factor in all this plays
