lasiempreverde Posted April 3 #1 Posted April 3 I was talking with some close friends and a question came up that always divides opinions: Are jealousy signs of love… or do they actually come from insecurity? AndreaMT 1
Moderator AndreaMT Posted April 3 Moderator #2 Posted April 3 I think it can be both. Sometimes jealousy is a sign of love and shows you care about that person, but excessive, constant jealousy is a sign of insecurity, in my opinion. 💔 MilicaRa and lasiempreverde 1 1
lasiempreverde Posted April 3 Author #3 Posted April 3 In my opinion, a little jealousy can be normal, but when it turns into control, it stops being love.
Moderator StefanTl Posted April 4 Moderator #8 Posted April 4 I think a little jealousy can be kind of sweet at the beginning of a relationship. It adds a playful spark! However, as time goes on, it might become a bit overwhelming for the other person and could dampen the love you share. Ultimately, I believe it's best to keep jealousy in check for a healthier, happier relationship! lasiempreverde and spaceoddtiddy 1 1
Aerena09 Posted April 5 #9 Posted April 5 As long as both partners listen and try to explain their point of view, someone in love will naturally avoid things that make their partner uncomfortable or jealous. Most of the time, it’s lack of communication or miscommunication that creates distance. We expect more, and expectations lead to suffering. Suffering leads to hate, hate leads to anger, and anger is just one step away from danger.
