LeRipperBal Posted April 4 #1 Posted April 4 But permanently, instead of having to do it every new table?
Community Manager BratislavK Posted June 24 Community Manager #2 Posted June 24 Hi @LeRipperBal Thank you for your interest in Stake Poker! Please open the settings menu in the top-right corner of the Poker client and uncheck “Squeeze hole cards” from the Table settings section. Once this option is disabled, your cards will no longer be displayed as real table cards, and you won’t need to squeeze them at the start of each round to see them.
LeRipperBal Posted Tuesday at 06:22 PM Author #3 Posted Tuesday at 06:22 PM Thanks my friend! Sorry for the late reply, much appreciated
tycenne Posted Thursday at 05:41 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 05:41 PM No worries man, glad you got it sorted. That setting stays saved once you turn it off, so you're good.
novaenne9 Posted Thursday at 06:55 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 06:55 PM Yeah it sticks once you toggle it off, no need to do it every time.
Zexry Posted Thursday at 08:14 PM #6 Posted Thursday at 08:14 PM Yeah just uncheck “Squeeze hole cards” in the settings and it’ll stay off across all tables, no need to mess with it every time
Wickique Posted Thursday at 09:39 PM #7 Posted Thursday at 09:39 PM tbh it's a bit hidden in the settings but once you uncheck it, that's it — works for every table after that
zextha Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM #8 Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM Yeah that setting is global, uncheck it once in the settings menu and it'll stick across every table you join
Zyxess Posted Thursday at 09:54 PM #9 Posted Thursday at 09:54 PM Yeah just hit the settings gear and uncheck “peek at cards” or whatever it’s called, it’s global so you set it once and forget it
frankiique Posted Thursday at 10:05 PM #10 Posted Thursday at 10:05 PM Yeah, it's a global setting so once you uncheck it, it's off for good across all tables.
nylixund Posted yesterday at 10:15 AM #11 Posted yesterday at 10:15 AM Happened to me last week, it saves across all tables.
novaraeon Posted yesterday at 03:09 PM #12 Posted yesterday at 03:09 PM It threw me off the first time too, especially when I realized each table kept asking about the corner peek. I always forget that some toggles hide inside the global preferences rather than being a per table thing.
StarMaster Posted 11 hours ago #13 Posted 11 hours ago yeah bro once u kill that squeeze setting it should stay off, youre chillin ? ?
wickesse1 Posted 8 hours ago #14 Posted 8 hours ago Did you also notice if turning it off changes how fast the animations play out, or is it purely visual?
hollowelle Posted 7 hours ago #15 Posted 7 hours ago global toggle is cleaner than doing it every table
Zexori Posted 7 hours ago #16 Posted 7 hours ago wait so if you change the global setting, does it also affect the casino games with cards or just the poker tables?
zexiress8 Posted 3 hours ago #17 Posted 3 hours ago I think the global toggle buried in settings is way less hassle, doing it per table each time would drive me nuts honestly
tyxkadra Posted 3 hours ago #18 Posted 3 hours ago I hate when settings arent truly permanent, you untick something and the next fresh table just resets it like you never touched a thing. Drives me up the wall tbh
vexirund Posted 3 hours ago #19 Posted 3 hours ago Go into the main game settings from the lobby, not inside a table, and look for the card squeeze or peek option there. That one usually sticks across sessions unlike the in game checkbox.
dosery Posted 2 hours ago #20 Posted 2 hours ago honestly the fact that it resets every new table is the part that bugs me the most, like why even have a setting if it wont stick
synelxen Posted 1 hour ago #21 Posted 1 hour ago once i joined 10 tables in a row and forgot to uncheck it every time, almost threw my mouse out the window lol
gauzeki Posted 1 hour ago #22 Posted 1 hour ago drives me crazy too, they make you toggle it per table and it just never sticks. i literally thought my settings were broken until i reaized the global option is hiding in the lobby menu not the table one
