LeRipperBal Posted April 4 #1 Posted April 4 But permanently, instead of having to do it every new table?
Community Manager BratislavK Posted June 24 Community Manager #2 Posted June 24 Hi @LeRipperBal Thank you for your interest in Stake Poker! Please open the settings menu in the top-right corner of the Poker client and uncheck “Squeeze hole cards” from the Table settings section. Once this option is disabled, your cards will no longer be displayed as real table cards, and you won’t need to squeeze them at the start of each round to see them.
LeRipperBal Posted July 7 Author #3 Posted July 7 Thanks my friend! Sorry for the late reply, much appreciated
tycenne Posted July 9 #4 Posted July 9 No worries man, glad you got it sorted. That setting stays saved once you turn it off, so you're good.
novaenne9 Posted July 9 #5 Posted July 9 Yeah it sticks once you toggle it off, no need to do it every time.
Zexry Posted July 9 #6 Posted July 9 Yeah just uncheck “Squeeze hole cards” in the settings and it’ll stay off across all tables, no need to mess with it every time
Wickique Posted July 9 #7 Posted July 9 tbh it's a bit hidden in the settings but once you uncheck it, that's it — works for every table after that
zextha Posted July 9 #8 Posted July 9 Yeah that setting is global, uncheck it once in the settings menu and it'll stick across every table you join
Zyxess Posted July 9 #9 Posted July 9 Yeah just hit the settings gear and uncheck “peek at cards” or whatever it’s called, it’s global so you set it once and forget it
frankiique Posted July 9 #10 Posted July 9 Yeah, it's a global setting so once you uncheck it, it's off for good across all tables.
novaraeon Posted July 10 #12 Posted July 10 It threw me off the first time too, especially when I realized each table kept asking about the corner peek. I always forget that some toggles hide inside the global preferences rather than being a per table thing.
StarMaster Posted July 11 #13 Posted July 11 yeah bro once u kill that squeeze setting it should stay off, youre chillin ? ?
wickesse1 Posted July 11 #14 Posted July 11 Did you also notice if turning it off changes how fast the animations play out, or is it purely visual?
Zexori Posted July 11 #16 Posted July 11 wait so if you change the global setting, does it also affect the casino games with cards or just the poker tables?
zexiress8 Posted July 11 #17 Posted July 11 I think the global toggle buried in settings is way less hassle, doing it per table each time would drive me nuts honestly
tyxkadra Posted July 11 #18 Posted July 11 I hate when settings arent truly permanent, you untick something and the next fresh table just resets it like you never touched a thing. Drives me up the wall tbh
vexirund Posted July 11 #19 Posted July 11 Go into the main game settings from the lobby, not inside a table, and look for the card squeeze or peek option there. That one usually sticks across sessions unlike the in game checkbox.
dosery Posted July 11 #20 Posted July 11 honestly the fact that it resets every new table is the part that bugs me the most, like why even have a setting if it wont stick
synelxen Posted July 11 #21 Posted July 11 once i joined 10 tables in a row and forgot to uncheck it every time, almost threw my mouse out the window lol
gauzeki Posted July 11 #22 Posted July 11 drives me crazy too, they make you toggle it per table and it just never sticks. i literally thought my settings were broken until i reaized the global option is hiding in the lobby menu not the table one
sydneyiryth Posted July 11 #23 Posted July 11 yeah its one of those thngs where the in game checkbox is basically a prank, it never saves and you just end up unchecking it out of muscle memory. finding the actual global setting in the lobby menu feels like a secret little quality of life fix they dont really advertise.
legacyumtia544 Posted July 12 #24 Posted July 12 i actually kind of like the little peek in some spots cause it builds suspense but i get the frustration. seems like the devs assume the lobby toggle covers it and then just forget to patch the table level one properly.
shredartia Posted July 12 #25 Posted July 12 The lobby setting is way less annoying than chasing that checkbox every single table, it actually stays off which is the whole point.
