I agree that smartphones have changed the world, both for better and for worse. On one hand, we have endless options available right in our pockets. On the other hand, this convenience can lead to reduced social interaction. However, one thing is clear: smartphones have definitely transformed our world.

Navigation apps have made getting lost almost obsolete. What used to require planning or memorization is now automatic. “Normal” now means relying on real-time directions and traffic updates instead of intuition or preparation. So I vote for GPS navigation apps...

In short, the smartphone has redefined “normal” by eliminating the friction of waiting, uncertainty, and boredom. It turned every idle moment into a productive or entertaining one, and every question into an instant answer. The cost is that simply being without a screen now feels strangely uncomfortable—proof that silence, not the device, has become the real anomaly.

oh for me its social media, FB, IG, X, YT, oh i love Tiktok😄 Most especifically, Gen Z cant go with life without these platforms, one way of expressing oneself with those creative vidoes, music, entertainment and some can even earn money by engaging with content creator's reward program🤙

I think there are many things besides smartphones that are inventions in themselves, but most of them would be incomplete without it. Smartphones make these experiences mobile, you can move around from place to place with the world still at your fingertips. I can't recall anything that I cannot access on the phone. They also make everything accessible and bring in both comfort and safety. They serve as the platform where every train lands, sure I can access it from my computer as well, but the mobility beats any other comfort.

I think it's the sweetest saddest experience humanity has ever tasted as it also is something that keeps us connected yet disconnected from our surroundings. But it's also something that's inbuilt in our system at this point, it's part of our daily life. All what you can do is embrace the pleasures it brings us.

I wouldn't have known so much music or art or movies or people from different parts of the world if it wasn't for the internet or the smartphone. I'm grateful for all the amazing experiences it has given me. I just love enjoying everything on my phone rather than anyplace else. But then again, I don't know my life without it, so how do you know if it has redefined your normal if it's just something that has always been a normal part of your life? Haha, something to think about. I think it's just our normal at this point. More like it defined it, than redefining it.

For me, social media actually. I use it every day without really thinking about it—whether I’m chatting with friends or catching up on what’s going on, basically, for anything. It’s just become a normal part of my routine and how I stay connected with everything around me.  I honestly can’t imagine life without it now, since it’s where almost everything happens.

The most important smartphone feature that has redefined daily life is cashless transactions.

In the past, we couldn’t even fit a thousand-rupee note in our pockets, but now, with UPI, we can securely store all our money in our smartphones.

Plus, we don’t fear losing it or having it stolen.

Everything is protected with a password, so our money stays safe, and that peace of mind is invaluable.

For me, the most important thing is that we can get in contant with important people in our life whenever we want. We can find anything we want regarding many things information or help wise.

Probably smartphones.
As much as I wish to keep it away sometimes, hand goes for it as if it's out of control!
Definately a necessity!
