The Weirdest Food You’ve Ever Tried 🙃

I’m curious to hear your experiences with unusual foods. 🙃

I don’t mean strange combinations like sweet and salty, but more uncommon or unexpected types of food, especially unusual animals. 🦇

For example, my grandparents used to collect and cook snails after the rain during the summer, and they really enjoyed it - but I always found it too gross to even try.

I remember when I was a kid, the slaughtering process.

What stuck with me the most was the food.

I tried sheep tongue wrapped in that thin, web-like fat membrane from inside the animal and then cooked. Sounds weird if you’re not used to it, but honestly it tasted really good. 😋

Snails are eaten a lot here in Spain. I quite like them, even though I wouldn't eat any other insect, but snails are tasty.

People enjoying eating this  but I haven't tasted yet, they say its an exotic food but thinking and looking at it as a snake, i throw up🤮

I remember eating goat tongue as well, but not like in the web like thingy. Also people here commonly eat goat's brain

I tried a crocodile and snake meat or  🐙  but im not fan of new food experiences anymore 😅 i just love our traditional food in albania ❤️🇦🇱

Well something i ate that i found strange at first but a lot tasty later was cow tail. So many meat in that tail.

Well, thinking about it, something I ate that I really didn't like was Iberian pig tongue. It wasn't bad, but the thought of eating a tongue seemed disgusting to me.

Interesting topic, there are definitely some weird foods out there. I’m not really someone who likes to experiment too much with food. I usually stick to what I know. One strange thing I tried was a really salty chocolate.

I normally like dark chocolate, but this was just too much; the taste was so weird, I couldn’t even finish it.
