Whether they serve as permanent reminders of personal triumphs, tributes to loved ones, or simply a way to transform the body into a living canvas, tattoos carry a profound weight in how we define ourselves, so we want to know: what is the "why" behind your ink, which artistic styles speak to you most, and would you be willing to share a photo or description of your favorite piece?

I don’t have any tattoos yet, but I’d really like to get a sun and moon tattoo on my chest. I think it looks great, but it also has a deeper meaning. For me, it represents balance, like light and dark, strength and calm, and just reminds you that both sides are part of life. I also like the idea that it can symbolize personal growth and finding your own path, so it’s not just a design but something meaningful.

Maybe in the future I’ll actually go for it, just need to find the right design and timing.
Something like this:

I don’t have any tattoos, but when I was a teenager, I really wanted to get a tattoo of my dog because I loved him so much.💗However, a friend of mine who had a tattoo described the process as very painful and uncomfortable, so I quickly gave up, haha.😅

Tattoos have always looked beautiful to me, especially on other people, but until recently I never really thought about getting one myself. I liked the idea of them as a form of art and self-expression, but I never imagined having a tattoo on my own body.

That changed when my godmother got a few small tattoos with special meanings behind them. Seeing her tattoos gave me the idea to get one too - something small, simple, and meaningful. I would like to have a tattoo that is not very visible, but that would carry a strong personal meaning for me. For me, tattoos are not only about style or “vibes,” but also about memories and emotions connected to important moments in life.

I am still thinking about it and have not made the final decision yet, but the idea of having a meaningful tattoo is becoming more and more interesting to me. 🤔
