I tend not to unless im' playing mutliple hands and have the option to insure some and not the others, in which case ill insure half of the hands if i think the dealer is likely to be holding (table is all low cards or something like that)

I'm guilty of buying it once in a while when I've recklessly bet really high and have 10-K vs an ace let's say.   I know it's the wrong bet - but when you can play 7-10 hands  a minute and see 600 hands an hours, things like hunches and assumed patterns (be they real or not) sucker me in.

What freaks me out is when I have 10-10 (or any combination of 20) and the dealer shows 2...then they get a 9...and you abso-freaking-lootly know what is coming and it's like you're playing face up blackjack.

everyone is really believe with insurance ? 

too often hear stories from families about their bad experiences with insurance lol saving on own bank is enough for me
