Well when France wants something then they do what they can to make it happen and according to Bitcoin.com France wants mining Farms.  I think other countires should take a look at France when it comes to the ideas they have put in front of law makers to make bitcoin mining not only possible but also affordable.

In my opinion this is a great idea and France is smart for taking the annishative to  go to law makers with this. Take a look and let me know what you all think.

Great news, especially for large mining operations. Hope that spreads to everywhere else and we can have cheaper electricity

P.S. pls change that word spelling to initiative... it's bugging the hell outta me :/

I distrust on that proposition, probably small or middle miners go to claim the reduced rate, but the next year receive a tax for mining/having bitcoin.

If other countries follow suite, it would be a huge positive step for crypto, and could have a positive impact on the price of bitcoin :)

Seems like a good development for the French people in term of Bitcoin mining potential to be increased in comparation to the world. :)

Still France has expensive electricity rates in Europe, and is not comparable with china or urss at all.

Don't know if the discount will be so attractive to be competitive for mining purposes.
