wiro212sableng Posted December 15, 2018 #1 Posted December 15, 2018 I hear a lot about controlling our emotions in gambling, I am not really understood what is psychology in gambling. Seems such hard to do for me. Play safe, stop when you win etc... i heard that from my friend. Really we have special experience each between other's experiences. There are those who can play well and succeed in gaining high profits but always end up with a loss, it has often happened to friends around me. There are also a small number of people who are with small deposits but alwayas get a profit at the end of game was they've played, i said that a super user lol. idk but how much deposit they have but have amazing profit statistics, they only play to be adequate for a minimum withdrawal.often we make a deposit, then play and get profits but often forget to stop and withdraw, I stop when the balance is gone, thats like such a bad gambler habbit right? there is one of my habits when I can stop playing to withdraw for a while and the money goes into the exchange, but not long after that I will deposit the money back to play again ... and it usually stops if the money is gone. sad isn't it? But I'm confused about where to start the change, sometimes I think about quitting gambling. Lol i am kidding, gambling have a good community and so many fantasy here... How about you? please give comments or enter information about psychology in gambling. I really appreciate the response from you
zeriko Posted December 16, 2018 #2 Posted December 16, 2018 When I first started my gambling career it was nearly as a way to pass time and maybe a couple bucks But as time went by and I sunk more and more of my money into this never-ending pit it quickly spiraled out of control consuming not only my free time the time that was very much not free as well as the inner depths of my psyche, it's all I would think about it's all I would do the second I had some time to myself so I would spend money on it was no longer I a way to have fun. Fortunately for me I got it more or less under control but it still haunts me and probablu forever will.
Marrcos1337 Posted December 16, 2018 #3 Posted December 16, 2018 Gambling is an interesting psychological phenomenon, and there has been extensive research on how psychological processes affect gambling behavior. Here are 5 interesting gambling phenomena. Gambling is, by its very definition, a random event. Yet, many gamblers firmly believe that they can devise a system to win at gambling. This includes trying to predict patterns in random numbers (there are none), trying to select “hot” slot machines and avoid “cold” ones (e.g., continuing to play a machine because it is “hot;” playing a machine that hasn’t paid off in a long time, thinking it’s “due”), or performing some ritualistic behavior in order to keep getting wins (I know of several gamblers who tap slot machines with a lucky “talisman”). As you know, gambling can be terribly addicting, and these psychological processes often work to increase that addiction. Neuroscience research has found that gambling addiction has many of the same neural processes as drug addiction.

OsmaNN Posted April 5, 2019 #5 Posted April 5, 2019 very important to me because it affects my life. I become a complete psychopath when I lose, and I will attack everything. I punch a wall I cried.
barbaris Posted April 5, 2019 #6 Posted April 5, 2019 Damn it, gambling really makes me nervous, but for now I’m holding myself. My friend broke the monitor at home and once had a fight with dealers in a real casino. But this is bad for him over.
