Have you ever thought or told yourself that you're never coming back?

i'm start getting bad effect of gamble, i got some debt for it.  than thought sometime i should stop gambling. but cant stop login stake till now. maybe oneday i can leave stake maybe oneday

The thought has crossed my mind but I normally only stop for a large period of time because I'm bored of gambling or am doing something that is more interesting. I've never felt the need to force myself to stop out of necessity. Perhaps that's not a good sign though because I don't look at things with the clearest mind too often.

I say it all the time but it keeps coming back into my mind if I do then I wont be able to  win back what I lost on the site.

This is the trap all of us fall into with gambling sites such as this one.

Same here , everyday i keep telling myself im never coming back here , i dont lose / win big. But when i remember the reason i  joined stake,stress removal and excitement that thought goes away instantly , if you put big deposits and lose in streaks you tend to get frustrated and will always thought not to comeback , but mostly for a gambler he will comeback for another deposit and tries to recover again.

yes many people have said that  and still they came back,. i done it,. but as of late... for sure when is time to go.. it will be time to go... there would be choice about it, and plus announcing it really doesn't matter,. just go.,. remember.,, the only people that would care is the people who you really know in  your life,, can it be the best for you,, yes,, keeps money in your pocket.. Here something to think about,..when you log out,, do you really believe they would care if you come back or not.. separate online and real life,,  life has a bigger impact then online..

oh ya also i think the forum topic title should have been, "have you ever told the chatroom  that your never coming back" lol cause that is what seems to always happen , i think its more so an attention seeking behavior or smtin......

For some of us this topic can be humorous and laughed off like, "ya I lose and don't really care" or I say "I think about not coming back but know I will"

For others this can be a depressing topic or situation that really should not be taken lightly.  Gambling addiction is no laughing matter.  

Most of the more reputable online casinos have options for self exclusion.  Is this even an option on Stake? I've haven't seen it, but that's not to say it isn't there.    I think making self exclusion available is  important for player who have little of no self control. 

I know there's always ways around an exclusion, however commiting to that exclusion is the first step of many to actually stop coming back.  

Is there a self exclusion at Stake?  Should there be?   

 

Ok so I just contacted support to inquire about self exclusion.  The response from support was as follows.

"Are you referring to an option to something like an option to disable your account?"

" If so, there is currently no such option directly for players.  But you can contact support and we can help you with this"

 

Why, I'm wondering do players have no option to disable their account without the help of support? Is it because Stake truely does not want player to do this or have this option? 

Some players wishing to do so would not contact support due to embarrassment.  For this reason I think Stake should make it available.

not yet because i love stake,  well if i were on your shoes gambling with school loan money, your savings, and bust it here,,, definitely i will quit,, because sorry to say it is not a smart decision to gamble such hard earn money, you will have a lot of sacrifices if you bust it in gambling,

But let's get straight into this reply to your topic...

Yes... I have told this to my self many of times. I have said to my self that I will never ever come on this site again. But do you know what? I always seem to come back the next day. lol. I only ever say this when I am so pissed off that I ripped or when I am very pissed of in general. Most of the time when I bust but yeah. I say this very frequently but I obviously do not mean it. Otherwise I wouldn't come back for good. xD. I would probably never leave stake... I love it too much hahaa! I have left many other sites thought in all fairness after saying I am never coming back. But not stake!!!
