Anyone make decent money from poker?

Was thinking of throwing money in to try, but I'm not sure I'm good enough to spend money on it. Are there decent free or low cost tournaments to try on?

Yeah, I had some good time on State poker. I had a bad beat also, and I got some jackpot. I like the graphics and the free rolls

You can play cash games as low as 0.8$ buyin and tournaments/sng starting from 1$, at times there is freerolls and 0.01$ tournaments with guaranteed prize pools what make them for all practical purposes freerolls.

Yes, there are very few good poker players. Anytime there is a casino that has poker, you get a lot of inexperienced players that just blow money. I would start at the $10 buy in cash games to get a feel of how it works. If you're a winning player, move to the $50 and play 6 tables at a time. Even the $500 tables are pretty easy.
