Kate Posted December 23, 2018 #1 Posted December 23, 2018 Bitcoin a coin of the future and is loved by most of us here at Stake because its one of the best coins and one of the first coins in the whole world which brought other cryptos. There are investors for Bitcoin as well as for some of the Altcoins or both at the same time some prefer one coin over the other for it to rise in those terms. If your an investor who invested in bitcoin as well as alt coins which would you want to rise ? Well for me generally it would depend on the coins situation and price if the coin has droped a lot from the initial price I would prefer that to rise in spite if I get less profits since I have low investments in that coin otherwise I would prefer the coin that would bring more profits to me.

Not really hard to seek some buyer on bitcoin. The profit was worth enough if we choose bitcoin, only you need big invest to it.

So I love to see every coin price up. And we all see alt coin price move with btc most of the time. So if we say to rise btc price alt will rise up too. But I hope to see btc price rise much then alt coin in percentage. And I would like to see btc at top always. Mostly people will like to see btc price rise much cause it's the most famous crypto and known by every crypto holder and they have it. BTC the king.
eroejoe Posted December 23, 2018 #7 Posted December 23, 2018 For new investors I suggest investing in Bitcoin, because it is store of value. Investing in altcoins could be more profitable, but it is riskier investment. Right now, Bitcoin is my number one investment, on second place is Ethereum then EOS. I have more than 70% of my portfolio in Bitcoin. I have in plan to buy more lower cap altcoins, but I think that bear market is not over yet, so it is not right time to do that in my opinion.
wry Posted December 23, 2018 #8 Posted December 23, 2018 Since Bitcoin gets the most public attention, I would always prefer it to do well. Since many alt coins are traded in terms of Bitcoin, a rise in it's price versus national currencies like the USD helps all other coins. Etherium, bitcoin cash, all hit highs when Bitcoin was mooning. So it's fine to like alt coins, but it's good for everyone when BTC rises, as long as you have some crypto!

If you mean rise by 50%, then I would choose bitcoin, since I hold the most bitcoins compared to all the coins I own (in terms of a dollar value). However, if you mean rise to a certain point, eg. $8000, then I think we would all choose DOGE

So you can get more ups and downs which means you can profit alot by just investing into those proper alts (the ones which have a high rate of success depending on specific amount of factors such as Market Cap, Current volume, is it an active coin being traded, white papers and everything else. About bitcoin is just feels mehhh as right now it's hard to get some good profit back meanwhile waiting for some fluctuations which are upward or downward swings in the prices of products in an economy.

Pirnitho Posted January 3, 2019 #15 Posted January 3, 2019 As a bitcoin enthusiast, what I would like to see is more stable price movements, less manipulation (like we saw in my opinion at the end of 2017), and similar factors to inspire more long-term confidence, more natural, real growth of Bitcoin (and as a knock-on effect, some altcoins too). From my previous research, there is hardly a single altcoin that doesn't closely follow the price of Bitcoin (or as it may be stated, sneezes when Bitcoin catches a cold). Therefore the less manipulation and the more stability there is in Bitcoin, will give other coins a chance to develop organically, perhaps we will see more unique and creative ideas that will develop solid roots, and this would be really good for the crypto space in general, long-term. 👍

Although im investing bitcoins and altcoins aswel right now. Bitcoin remains my main balance of my investments, would say that ive made a lot with those altcoins while trading.
