There were instances that I didn't know someone talked to me in chat, yes I was online but I wasn't actually on the screen because I was using mobile. I hope we can see some online status such as active, away, busy/do not disturb and invisible.

When we click on someone's alias, we see "Unfriend" or "Add Friend" or "Confirm" or "Decline" with a green dot on the side indicating that the player is online or a red dot, indicating they are offline. Usually when the players have the Ghost mode enabled, it is always red. I usually get messages saying "Hey you here" or "REPLYYY" but I'm usually just AFK, doing automated betting and working side by side. Then when I see their message I realise that they must've wasted time waiting for me and even the smallest of time is valuable. So I think there should be a different option for people where they can decide their activity status. Somewhat like the Steam Client lets us choose: http://prntscr.com/lzatha We could choose "AFK" or "Away" or "Busy" or something, because then the people will know that we aren't there at the moment even though we are online on the site! What do you guys think about this? You think it could be a good addition considering the long awaited Stake2.0 has been announced? I don't want to make a post in the "Suggestion" Topic because I first want to know what you guys think of this, and most people don't look at that page. Let me know! Thanks! ~TKO

The red/green circle is not always accurate, as I chat to people who have red circles, so I'm not sure that the circle is accurate. However, I don't think many people will use this, they will probably set it and forget about it, but there will be some people who find value in changing it

Perhaps it is a bug or just delays on status changes, but yeah an option to either put yourself online, offline or busy would be nice. Busy status especially when youre on a mobile phone and someone is trying to chat with you which is difficult to know since i dont get the notification popup all the time and it is also a hassle to keep switching to chat whille playing.

It'd be wayyy too much of a hassle for every player to manually change the status everytime they have to go answer the door/check stove/go to bathroom etc otherwise. Or just use Discord/Telegram, which is more than sufficient imo 😛

Thanks! ~TKO This is a super good idea. Or invisible !!! Would be a super good idea for stake to add this. Hopefully Edward or someone higher up sees this and adds this feature !!

Etude Posted December 27, 2018 #9 Posted December 27, 2018 Perhaps it is about time for developers to take in consideration of this idea in order to improve Stake chat to make it more interactive than it is now. This definitely would be more convenient especially with the current friend's list is still bugged and needs fixing too.
