I hope you're doing well.

I have a question regarding the Topic of the Month selection. After looking at the winning topic, I noticed that it received significantly less engagement than my own topic. When comparing the views and overall activity, the difference is quite noticeable.

Because of this, I honestly don't understand why my topic wasn't selected. Could you please explain the reason behind the decision? From my perspective, my topic appears to have performed much better, so I'd like to know what criteria were considered.

I'm not trying to create an argument I simply believe my topic deserved to be considered, and I would appreciate some clarification.

Thanks for reaching out.

We did consider your post, but the main issue is that it wasn’t particularly creative. There are a lot of “lucky number” posts on the forum, which is the main reason this post was not selected as Topic of the Month.

I was just curious because I got the idea for my topic from the "Favorite Color" topic, which was previously selected as Topic of the Month. Since the two topics are quite similar, I was a little surprised that mine was considered not creative enough.

 

It just made me wonder: if the "Favorite Color" topic could be selected as Topic of the Month, how is the "Favorite Number" topic viewed differently?
