Can't login, says KYC restricted (Posting on behalf of a friend)

I have a friend who didnt deposit or withdraw or play any game and wanted to deposit and submitted passport, but after that it keeps saying KYC restriced, cant login on stake or the community
cant reach support because live chat is only for logged in users
recovery@ support said they cant help either 

Edit - Okay my friend said the profile get verified, just had to give it time, but this wasn't mentioned anywhere
