CAPT.DEADPOOL Posted January 13, 2019 #1 Posted January 13, 2019 Do you think what is a better wallet for storing altcoins Myetherwallet or Metamask so many hackers so just keep saving your altcoins.
Computer Posted January 13, 2019 #2 Posted January 13, 2019 i think both are alright but if prefer then Metamask.......i have both
clariaaaa Posted January 13, 2019 #3 Posted January 13, 2019 my choice is metamask. metamask 90% secure wallet, but many Android mobile metamask doesnt support this is problem...
KiXxnTRiXx Posted January 18, 2019 #4 Posted January 18, 2019 I havent used nor heard of either one before. I mainly use Coinbase as my wallet, which most times are empty since stake wont let me win xD... heh.. but joking aside.. ive had no problems with Coinbase so far. It offers 2fa and even extra security whenever you withdraw or send coins out.
Kate Posted January 19, 2019 #5 Posted January 19, 2019 I would go for Myetherwallet since it gives you the private key and also the wallet file so you can open it up in any other computer but meta mask is browser based and its an extension so its noty type. Just gave my review on it I use Myetherwallet ( mew ) Metamask is kind of phishy for me.
jualid Posted January 19, 2019 #6 Posted January 19, 2019 I never use metamask before, so i can't give a comment about it but i use myetherwallet since the first time i knew crypto and never had a single problem untill now.
jkd123 Posted January 19, 2019 #7 Posted January 19, 2019 I have used them. If you didn't login or import your private key through phising link, it's secure. Especially for myether user, make sure you are on real myether site. Like myetherwallet, metamask has private key. I tried metamask when I heard about MEW phising link (a year ago). I was scared to login on myether when I'm trying to sell my tokens on etherdelta. At that time,my friends just lost his eth after login through that link. Thn I saw metamask option on etherdelta and kinda curious about that so I just try. I think it's secure and easy to use. Haven't got any problem with metamask.
williamshennie9 Posted January 19, 2019 #8 Posted January 19, 2019 If you have lots of altcoins worth a significant amount, then you should consider a hardware or paper wallet. Otherwise, if you still want to store your coins online, then perhaps splitting them across the 2 wallets is safer, just in case something happens
marsh Posted January 27, 2019 #9 Posted January 27, 2019 In my opinion both are good to use, we can use both.
FotisNt Posted January 27, 2019 #10 Posted January 27, 2019 Well, I haven't use Metamask yet, so I'm using Myetherwallet which is perfect for me so far.
skillex Posted February 25, 2019 #11 Posted February 25, 2019 As far as Im using myetherwallet its still the best for me. I only used metamask once and that was long time ago but then I quit using it since I find it hassle to use since I find it more hard than eth too. But reasearching also for it on its reviews, many sais that metamask is the best.
