Robertperby Posted Tuesday at 05:43 PM #1 Posted Tuesday at 05:43 PM Patience wins more poker games than luck. Play smart, not every hand. Position is power in poker. Wait for the right spots and make them count. Good bankroll management is part of winning poker. Stay disciplined.
Doseyx Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM #2 Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM Facts bro, folding 80% of hands is boring but it's how you stack chips in the long run.
krxenne Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM #3 Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM fr facts bro, folding 80% of hands is boring but it's how you stack chips in the long run. 🏅💎
sydneyari Posted Thursday at 08:33 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 08:33 PM Bankroll management doesn't get talked about enough tbh, most people blow their stack chasing one bad beat.
onyxoria5 Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM Position is everything, I used to play way too many hands from early spots and wonder why I kept getting crushed post-flop lol.
Noron Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM #6 Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM Bankroll management is the real separator between casuals and grinders, saw a guy lose 3 months of profit in one tilt session last week ngl.
Emberenne0 Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM #7 Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM So many people treat poker like it's a lottery, but the grinders know it's all about those small edges adding up over thousands of hands.
Ravenva Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM #8 Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Discipline hits different when you're card dead for two hours straight ngl, that's when the real grinders show up.
Nasiliyee64 Posted Thursday at 09:29 PM #9 Posted Thursday at 09:29 PM yeah patience is the hardest skill to learn tbh, everyone wants to play every hand but folding is literally printing money long-term
shredin Posted Thursday at 09:54 PM #10 Posted Thursday at 09:54 PM fr, folding pre with a trash hand when you're bored out of your mind is low-key the most profitable move you can make
buyvalo9 Posted yesterday at 10:10 AM #11 Posted yesterday at 10:10 AM nitting the small blind with j2 suited and hitting trips on a wet board feels better than winning a flip tbh
norioerra Posted yesterday at 11:07 AM #12 Posted yesterday at 11:07 AM I folded ace queen offsuit in early position last night when a tight player 4bet me and he showed kings, would have cost me half my stack if I called like the old me used to do. Sticking to my hand ranges and not getting emotionally attached to pretty looking cards has saved me more money than any hero call ever did.
ryoixc5tu Posted yesterday at 01:28 PM #13 Posted yesterday at 01:28 PM tbh i used to think poker was all about teh bluff but now i just sit back and let the donks hang themselves ?
vycarvi759 Posted yesterday at 01:36 PM #14 Posted yesterday at 01:36 PM tracking how many hands you actually plya per hour is eye opening, i started aiming for like 18% vpip and suddenly stopped bleeding chips in those marginal spots where you kinda sorta have something but you know you're behind
thornund Posted 8 hours ago #15 Posted 8 hours ago sitting out ten hands in a row is sometimes the whole strategy honestly
frostixva Posted 8 hours ago #16 Posted 8 hours ago folded kings pre once, guy shoved and showed aces. disciplinne saved me
nalorlia Posted 8 hours ago #17 Posted 8 hours ago folded pocket jacks for two hours straight once then stacked a guy with rockets when he couldnt resist my small bet on the river
seleneoria Posted 5 hours ago #18 Posted 5 hours ago when you say bankroll management, do you set a hard stop loss per session or just play it by feel depending on how soft the table is?
luxalyn9 Posted 3 hours ago #19 Posted 3 hours ago fold more in the small blind, seriously that spot leaks so many chips if you get too sticky there. also dont underestimate how tilted regs get when you three bet their button opens like twice an orbit.
ivshengyn722 Posted 1 hour ago #21 Posted 1 hour ago i side with table selection over just raw patience any day, a soft table turns that card dead grind into easy money way faster than folding correctly against sharks
