Kate Posted January 15, 2019 #1 Posted January 15, 2019 So all of you would have known the new implementation of depositing into Stake with different altcoins not only Litecoin or Ethereum or Dogecoin or Bitcoin Cash but also XMR , Dash and many more crypto currency. If you don't know what it is its called CoinSwitch. Also i have created a poll above on the basis of how it is , how it feels and how fast it and how many minimum confirmations is required ? etc. just to see in the eyes of others how good is it . Personally , i haven't used it on Stake but i have used it to exchange my XMR to Bitcoin into my wallet and it was pretty ok not as smooth as what shapeshift feels like but its still good for Stake since it expands userbase since many more users with different coins can now gamble.. This will indeed solve the problem of people wanting to gamble but has to pay high exchange fees of exchanges to get Bitcoin. Also will it be possible in the future to implement the same thing but instead we deposit from Stake and exchange to another coin in Stake ? That'd be much much great in my opinion.
Peckatop Posted January 15, 2019 #2 Posted January 15, 2019 actually this system sux cuz fee is too big. i prefer to exchange at changelly. it does best fee and faster service.
williamshennie9 Posted January 15, 2019 #3 Posted January 15, 2019 Never used it before, but i assume it works well, because Stake would have removed it if it gave issues
ScooterPi Posted January 15, 2019 #4 Posted January 15, 2019 I havent had reason to use this service yet. But I did take a look at it recently. Was surprised to see how many different coins are supported - if I ever have occasion to use it, I will give it a try

This feature is fast and easy. Aside from the fact that the transactions are way faster versus doing it outside, the fees are not that high.
Computer Posted January 15, 2019 #6 Posted January 15, 2019 i did not used yet but i think it will not faster then Dina bot it will need confirmation
Snike Posted January 15, 2019 #7 Posted January 15, 2019 I did a similar post like this and I got moved to this topic so be careful, but in general I like the idea of the feature but I dont use it at all.
Jihoona Posted January 15, 2019 #8 Posted January 15, 2019 i just try it and its very fast but it will be more good if stake/coinswitch make a history exchange so we can know all the old transaction that we have done

And there is already a history for deposits on Stake but It would be good to have one which is based on coinswitch only.
BLXN Posted January 15, 2019 #10 Posted January 15, 2019 i would prefer the ability to play with the coins themselves, rather than just convert- because of their scale. bch and eth are so close to one another, it's like rolling the same coin. i like how it was quickly implemented, and it's a step in the right direction, I guess, but i would prefer to see stake support other coins, rather than simply provide a means to exchange them for in-house currencies.

Well its in case of coins which are not depositable on stake like for example Dash coin can't be so instead use coin switch and switch to doge or which is acceptable in stake.

Babagucci Posted January 17, 2019 #13 Posted January 17, 2019 The fee is too much which is usually the case with most exchanges. The minimums and fees are always too high.
blueprints Posted January 17, 2019 #14 Posted January 17, 2019 I mean theres already that dinabot that does most the conversions in Stake anyways. How fast was it ? You said it wasnt as smooth as shapeshift and im not a big fan of shapeshift so that makes me not even want to try it lol. Perhaps thats just for your wallet though. Maybe its quicker on stake. Yeah that would be so much better! I bet they would if they could easily but i can imagine that being alot of work and resources.

I tried depo for btc with altcoin, they are paying my alt little less than average price. But, rate exchange is still reasonable for me, since they didn't take any % of our final amount except for miner's fee.
CAPT.DEADPOOL Posted January 17, 2019 #16 Posted January 17, 2019 I think it depend the blockchain if more transaction process all of altcoin receive is become slow and it depends of gas if many you put a gas veryfast receiving 😊.
FotisNt Posted February 11, 2019 #17 Posted February 11, 2019 Well, it's actually pretty useful to me while I'm mining plenty of Alt-coins. However, I don't really like the fees cause they are kinda high, but who cares, I prefer paying a bit more to make transactions way faster.

Knowing that the fees are expensive drives me further away from using this service... especially when there are other alternatives like Changelly which do the same thing for a cheaper fee! Thank you for that review!
