I find it just odd that US players are not allowed to play here but every one still wants to know what thier coin is worth in USD.  What does it matter what a coins worth is in a currancy of a country that is not allowed on the site.

And not everyone is from USA ... so they would have to change this for each currency there is out there to accomidate !

For this you could use the conversion command in the chatbox that is !cv ( amount of currency ) ( name of currency ) to ( which currency you need it to be converted to )

This can be annoying but stake is crypto Gambling site so it's logical for them to display it in crypto and not USD .

chatbot is all we have for now which is not hard to use in my honest opinion. Despite the fact that it sometimes dies, it has helped us for a very long time and I would honestly say what would the point be displaying USD when it kind of makes Chatbot useless? Chatbot is very unique and this is all we actually need, there are bigger problems and bugs to fix so it's best to leave them to work on that. Stake 2.0 is not so far away so we will see what that brings, maybe in future the USD but it's not essential at all right now.

Well and there is always google for conversion !

I think displaying the Balance value in USD might make it seem too much of a Fiat currency casino then.

so?

would this be a bad thing?

USD is the international currency same like EUR , everyone knows their value so I say yes to display of balance and bet amount in USD or EUR. It would be easier for everyone especially for newbies.

This is a feature that could be nice to have since USD is a currency used throughout the world.  I would suggest though to have it as an option and not necessarily automatically displayed.. like you could choose to have it displayed in the drop down where other currencies are displayed.

I don't think stake would like that, it's a lot easier for players to lose money when they don't realize the value of that they are wagering. In a way it's a lot like how real casinos give you chips to play with. It's much easier to lose a 5 dollar chip compared to giving the dealer a 5 dollar bill for each bet.

well since the btc is on the rise.. that would be a great feature,. instead of  spaming the price of it.. people can see each coin and usd value in their window.. that would be a great feature indeed. and will also how much a person wagered in total..; no need to keep looking up the price or calculating the wagers. but it shouldnt just be usd but all currency at that.. it would give in my opinion a person more control on their betting. seeing what they are wagering and what would they be gaining.. that can actually change how people play on each game. yes i agree . to have the value of each crypto currency to their countries currency value..

I think this would be a great idea for us users on stake, but I dont think it would be in the best interest for the site. This is a crypto site, in where most users don't really grasp how much money they are playing with because its not in dollars but in bitcoin(me as well). I usually will play and after I rip look at how much I lost. If a USD option was there, then pooeple would play less risky and stake would probably lose a lot of money.

I reckon that they should add this sometime soon. It would be cool if they could add every currency - (GBP, USD, EUR) so and so fourth. It would make life alot easier to then you don't have to convert it to your currency thorugh the bot or google.

I like to switch up which cryptos I use.. For awhile, I only really played with LTC and just estimated the conversion in my head..
Once I started switching which ones I would use though, I found it hard for me to keep track..
And I actually had a similar thought about wishing it would display the USD value as well..
I figured something had to be easier than typing up the conversions in Google lol.
I actually use an extension in my web browser now.. You can add whatever cryptos to the list that you want..
And what you do is just highlight the amount you have (Example -> 1.07845055) and then you right-click on the highlighted balance and it pulls up the list of cryptos you picked for it to display and the USD Value of the amount that you highlighted..
Idk, hopefully the way I explained that made sense lol.
Different Browsers may offer different options.. But the one I use is *Bitcoin Auto-Converter* and its a Chrome web extension for anyone curious.

This site is region restricted and if you are from the US you shouldn't be playing here...that being said why would they display the value of a currency for a country that doesn't allow online gambling?  I'm just saying, maybe you all are willing to admit you are breaking rules and wanna support US values in game, but i'll pass...i like the values as they already are, its pretty easy to do some simple maths.

I dont think making USD or flat currency the main denomination on the site is what is being suggested. I think it would be great if we had an Option to see the current equivalent value of our balance or our bets.

Stake staff cannot deny the demand for such an option. I mean just look at how immense the use of Chatbot is for seeing the worth of crypto in flat currency or vice versa. Who wouldnt appreciate such a feature! I mean for a time i looked for a site that used bitcoin and had an option to see my bets in flat currency. I was sick of seeing 9 digits in every crypto bet i made. It can be more relaxing and thrilling to see everything in flat every now and then.

But i just assume they are busy doing other things, and since theres not that big a demand for this ( since we have google.com and chatbot etc ) its probably not even on the to do list at all.
