Is poker more about skill or luck?

I've heard different opinions about this. Do you think poker is mostly skill, mostly luck, or a mix of both? I'd like to hear what experienced players think.

fr it's a mix but skill takes over long term, luck just decides who wins the short sessions.

Over a big enough sample size the math doesn’t lie, so skill wins out. Short-term variance can make you feel like a genius or a donkey though.

If you play one hand it’s all luck, but over a month of grinding you’ll see the same faces at the top tables for a reason.

long run it’s definitely a skill game, but those nights where you lose with aces three times in a row make you question everything

ngl the short-term variance can be brutal, but that's exactly why the fish keep coming back—they think they're just unlucky instead of bad
