Suggestion for keeping chat spam-free

Specifically Spam Made from Trivias or Giveaways In Chat
Ok so many mods see the answers to certain trivias as spam because of how many messages are being posted in a short amount of time which are usually of one or few words.
Which as you can imagine leaves them confilicted because they want to carry out their role as moderators and moderate the content in the chat, but they also do not want to ruin not just peoples opportunity to win something to play with, but also not appreciate the host good will and generousity. I mean no one is trying to spam the chat during these trivias, no one should be punished because no one is doing wrong.

I mean even mods and staff have made trivias that have been "spammy". I dont think its spam, its just not appropriate for a chatroom. IT shouldnt be there but it techinically is allowed for the purpose of hosting games and trivias. Now I believe there is an easy fix to this:

Make a GameRoom

A room in the chat soley for the use of trivias, rollhunts, or anything similar. This will keep all that "spam" out of the chatrooms that were originally intended for chatting, not game hosting.  It will keep these games and trivias from interrupting any ongoing conversations and will help the whole chat from going into chaos. You know how people get excited after seeing tips and trivias and such, especially the you-know-who crowd. Well if theres less of this game activity in the english chat then they wont tempted or provoked to get into that state of begging. There wont be that commotion to get them to try and get attention in hopes of getting coins.

if there is a gameroom the chat wont be interrupted by the loud invitation to chaos that these games tend to bring along. These trivias and stuff can be seen as a opportunity to beg without getting in trouble because of the chance of not being noticed by mods. A gameroom would keep the chat much neater and make it better of a place for chatting. Also will make trivias and such more relaxed because players dont have to worry about getting muted for trying to post as many guesses as they can to try and win.

Mods would then be able to have a zero tolerance for spam outside of an active gameroom and wouldnt have to hesitate to take care of it swiftly.

Great suggestion, there's just a few things that might be an issue:

1. What if someone is new and hosted trivia without being aware of the games room?

2. What about different language channels? Are we supposed to make like 6 games rooms for 6 language rooms?

3. Chances are majority of people will simply migrate and stay/talk in the games room, rendering the actual english channel useless

I just thought about the /trivia bot thing too.
Plus the moving back and forth would be an inconvenience.

Well the mods could moderate that room to enforce that only games and trivias are there. No normal chatting allowed.

Maybe they could make the /trivia automatically post in the gameroom, and then show a notifcation bubble to alert everyone that theres a trivia, but have only the room corresponding with the language that the games are written in be notified and only those users in that room see that notification.

Keeping a different room for games is a good idea but the problem is the person who don't see the message of a mod saying that a game is going on in another room he/she would miss the game and start getting furious and would suggest for it to be removed.

I like the inspiration for this suggestion, but logistically it just doesn't work. We would have to create so many channels (that would be mostly abandoned) which would just be a nightmare to navigate around when certain "games" are being setup and played.

I had the idea that a notification could be broadcasted when someone starts a game, but that would be complicated for the languages.

The final key point to be made is that we want people identifying to one specific chat channel. The more we make the more disperse the community becomes and harder top get the attention of someone or find relevant conversations you would like to participate in.
