wngo123 Posted February 4, 2019 #1 Posted February 4, 2019 I agree that it shouldn't be easy to qualify to for higher tier give away roles, however in my opinion the requirements to get to the roles are encouraging people to spam or give up like me. For example to get to Tier 2 you need to invite one person to discord. Ok it doesn't sounds bad. But to get to Tier 2 you need to get 3 people, and Tier 3 you need at least 5 people. Sure you can invite your friends, but if they don't join then what you got left? Spamming other forums? Spamming social networks? I don't want to do that. Maybe it was good at the beginning, but right now I think most people know about discord giveaways and it's getting harder and harder to get new people. And if you want to introduce new people to stake, that doesn't help either, because first you need to explain how stake works, what it is and why it's fun to join. That's a lot of work , but then you need to convince people to install discord and join and most people don't know how it works, so you need to teach them how discord works. Now you can call me lazy, but that's too much work and that's only with one person and you have no guarantee that this person will join. Again, I don't say it should be easy to get to higher tiers, I understand there must be some requirements. But inviting new people is good at the very beginning, but then you ran out of people to invite. What do you think? Should the rules change? Keep it strict, I don't say make it easier, but think about some other requirements. What other requirements would be better? At the same time I understand that giveaways are done to promote stake and it's the main reason. I love discord giveaways. I want to promote stake. So don't get me wrong, please.
irawk0 Posted February 4, 2019 #2 Posted February 4, 2019 Actually the requirements were already lowered twice (I believe) regarding invites when it became apparent how hard it is for most people. I don't see why it should be lowered again, since the whole point of discord is to get the word out about Stake and spread advertisement. If you have difficulty, try posting the discord invite link in your signature under various forums and wait for people to click. Otherwise you can pm individuals on Stake (not in chat) and ask them to join under your link, maybe give some sort of incentive as well.

So don't get me wrong, please. the qualifications and different tiers i believe were created to deter the cheaters, alts users from having infinity amount of accounts using bots with auto click to join the giveaway.. with more requirements for higher tier.. 1 simply cant just create a new accounts to exploit winning the giveaways... i like the wagering and posts requirements, cause that in itself would take a person a while to achieve in order to join a tier.. i may be wrong, but it makes total sense why not everyone can just join in.. these gates keeps the trolls away xD.

Personally, I find it extremely tedious to enter into giveaways where the same people are observed to win repeatedly, while others complain about never winning once. I think I'll continue to stick to my guns, and not ever re-enter the silly reindeer games. :**
Kate Posted February 4, 2019 #6 Posted February 4, 2019 The requirements are so high because : Discord isn't owned by Stake and they can't detect alt Accounts hence the higher requirements People can easily win all the giveaways by abusing with alts Stake wants to reward their most active players and not the new ones who just joined or the alt abusers

Hahaha, so are you saying you want to be able to join higher rank tier that pays more without any work at all? To just open it up for every single players? There are still alot more players that are not on discord, im sure if you try and think on how to find those players instead of giving up because its too difficult, you could have gotten the invites you needed by now. You coud also invite new potential players to join stake and then discord. How difficult is that? You say you want to promote stake, well here is your opportunity to do just that. Your actions and words are not matching up. Starting to seem like you just really want an easier way to get in. :/

And they just have to join for it to count towards you. But yeah invites dont matter as much anymore. And theres less incentive with the decrease in giveaway frequency

But thats my opinion... lol Quirte frankly i dont ever play or hardly ever play discord giveaways... havent won one yet and i played a lot before... so i just gave up on it. Seems like a huge waste if time for me anyway.

And just provide an incentive for everyone who joins through your link like maybe a tip of 0.01 LTC or something. There are other methods also but I guess botting isn't allowed on Stake

I have 8 invites and maybe.. had an effort of two minutes. I didn’t even know that I had 8 for a long time.
