rexys8 Posted July 9 #2 Posted July 9 Hitting a flush on the river when they think they’ve got it locked up is one of the best feelings in poker ngl
peltra Posted July 9 #3 Posted July 9 Yeah man, especially when it’s a backdoor flush and they never see it coming
sophnda Posted July 9 #4 Posted July 9 backdoor flushes hit different, especially when you were just chasing a gutshot and accidentally spike it
syleon Posted July 9 #5 Posted July 9 Hitting it on the river when someone's already counting the chips is pure cinema tbh
thornoria Posted July 9 #6 Posted July 9 Backdoor flushes feel like stealing candy, fr. The best is when you weren't even trying and just luck into it lol
peltari Posted July 9 #7 Posted July 9 Nothing beats the slow roll of revealing that flush when they were already mentally stacking your chips
Sandoria Posted July 9 #8 Posted July 9 nothing beats the silent rage when you river a flush and they just sit there staring at the board
ladyora Posted July 9 #9 Posted July 9 for real, especially when you're holding like 2-7 suited and just praying, then bam - flush on the river and suddenly you're a genius lol
pyxxen Posted July 9 #10 Posted July 9 Yeah, and when you're holding the nut flush against a lower one, that's straight-up printing money.
doseess Posted July 9 #11 Posted July 9 That silent moment when the last heart lands and you just tap the table like you've been there before. Meanwhile inside you're screaming.
yxyn Posted July 9 #12 Posted July 9 hitting a flush with rags in your hand is the ultimate, feels like you just pulled off a heist
thornarki Posted July 9 #13 Posted July 9 flush is nice but honestly a set that fills up on the river feels way more brutal to be on the wrong end of
leopyde7bx Posted July 9 #14 Posted July 9 nothing beats that look on their face when the fourth suit hits on the turn and they start sweating
Ryxoslyn Posted July 10 #15 Posted July 10 do you prefer hitting the fluh on the turn or the river for max drama?
woonkaoria Posted July 10 #16 Posted July 10 Last time I hit a runner runner flush I had already mentally folded my 9 4 offsuit and was just waiting to muck, then the turn and river both spied clubs out of nowhere. The guy with top pair tilted so hard he donked off his entire stack two hands later trying to get it back from me.
krxalra361 Posted July 10 #17 Posted July 10 I once flopped a flush and checked it all the way to the river while some guy kept firing, and when I finally called him on the last bet he just stared at his full house and couldn't say a word. He didn't even notice the suited board until it was too late.
gondolac4 Posted July 10 #18 Posted July 10 flush over a full house is the ultimate soul crusher, seen grown men walk away from the table after that ? ?
Vaelarvar5 Posted July 10 #19 Posted July 10 I once bluffed the nut flush with seven deuce and a guy folded pocket aces face up.
buyvalo60 Posted July 10 #20 Posted July 10 honestly chasing a flush from the flop with only one suit in your hand is a trap i fall for too much. you bleed chips over time hoping for that runner runner magic. now i only stick wiith suited cards when im in late position or the pot odds are just dumb good
faithosarium Posted July 10 #22 Posted July 10 flopped a nien high flush yesterday and the whole table called my river shove thinking i was tilted
hollowari Posted July 11 #24 Posted July 11 last tourney i played live i went runner runner for a queen high flush and some old guy slow rolled his ace high flush so bad i nearly threw my chips at him. the rush is unreal right up until it gets crushed
kimtaltal23 Posted July 11 #25 Posted July 11 Watching someone hit that miracle river card for a flush when they were statistically dead in the water the whole hand is honestly better drama than any sport i ever bet on. i got a soft spot for suited connectors just for that tiny chance of crushing the overpair guys who never see it coming.
