Babagucci Posted February 23, 2019 #1 Posted February 23, 2019 Hey fellow stakers, So I realized today after replying to a few topics that my rewards per comment have drop significantly. Before today I haven't really posted for the last week or so and even today I have only made a couple repliies. Posts that I would usually get 400 -500 Satoshi for have now become 90 - 125 Satoshi. Anyone else experiencing lower forum Rewards per post?

Try replying on different sections and not focus on only specific sections? I am still not 100% familiar how it works, but i think doing that would help. Do not quote me on that though, just something i was told

KiXxnTRiXx Posted February 24, 2019 #10 Posted February 24, 2019 Thanks for the update Dan, ya i think spreading out your posts and replies for better return is a great idea honestly.. i get to read and reply to topics i normally would not have checked out beforehand.. gave that extra motivation and push to venture out from the normal go to threads and topics.. i still have a few threads that i check on most than others, but find spreadng out really does boost on good returns..
williamshennie9 Posted February 24, 2019 #11 Posted February 24, 2019 The rewards are the same as far as I am aware, but there seems to be an algorithm in place now to prevent those who are farming the forum. The best is to make high quality posts, and post all over the forum, not just in 1 section as some people do.

Hey Dan, I understand your in charge of this aspect of the forum but I personally have never abused the forum and just doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm trying to post in sections I normally wouldn't but the reward still seems to be much smaller than what it has been in the past. But I'll keep trying to Branch out and see how it goes.
polor12 Posted February 25, 2019 #13 Posted February 25, 2019 not really i had experience that b4..but it was caused by a post i made that got me in trouble..so within a month i was getting little amount..well after probation was over..getting above 500 all depending on the length of a reply or post a topic that would not get removed or not worth replying to... but now i see a topic that was made that a person clearly doesn't describe that's titled in their topic or in a few words of reasoning why we should we discuss.. and their post doesn't get removed...One topic especially was a copy paste repeatedly about nothing to do with this site or bitcoins...

I was tired of seeing those walls of posts by a single user on the front page, it feels like the forum is being taken over by some weird people. *Cough* Heroes in a nutshell* *Cough*

Basically, regardless of whether you get payed or not just contribute to any topics you deem fit and your rewards should naturally increase!

Have you ever considered that the forum will be less used because of the consistent changes? Why do those who spend a lot of time trying to help out and make changes to benefit the forum/community have to suffer as a result from those newer players that only have one intention, to farm the forum? It would be nice to just answer the questions, I can't even get a straight answer from the support team. Can you prove this? Who is this focused at, everyone? I guess they also depend on time interval of every posts man.

However, forum rewards are still high and cool, that's remporaly I agree with you ... but there is something that intrigues me; how to talk about abuseivety instead of frequency of comments on the forum? it should not be thought that anyone who likes to use the forum in relation to the site is at a disadvantage! If I understand correctly, whoever remains, who will always be connected, will risk no longer receiving rewards from the Rain? just for asking... Cheers...!

In these days of the internet, an active bustling forum community is hard to find. I think BitcoinTalk is the only other Forum besides Stake which is quite active that I've come across lately. Everyone is on Discord or Telegram, which are great in their own ways, but there is no way to have any archived information. Good site forums become a plethora of knowledge and memory for all the new users to find for years to come, information and time shared on Discord and Telegram has a way shorter life-span. However, I should be clear that even though I think the rewards are important, I think focusing on the reward should not be important at all. You should be rewarded for posting on the forum but you shouldn't post on the forum to be rewarded. I was also under the impression that your rate of reward could change based on your most recent behaviour and post habits. You are given a base grade when you are a newbie, your first 15-30 posts are used to score your starting value but I was under the impression this can fluctuate if your posting habits change... MAybe that's what some of you are experiencing? Someone even mentioned right in their complaint that the past weeks they haven't been posting as much around the forums and they noticed a difference between rewards now and before... Well, to me, you answered why this has happened to your recently; your post habits changed

Kudos for being able to relay a sensitive subject with a concise meaning and clear intentions! I would rather be part of the “chloroformed group”, at least when concerning rewards - Simply cause they kinda don’t owe/have to give us anything in the first place. However, most of your points communicated make good sense (assuming rewards have really been lowered), requiring some level of explanation from Stake at the very least... 😣
