NAMANLIVE Posted July 7 #1 Posted July 7 Kobel you beauty what a save from kobel enjoyed every fraction of it
kovani Posted July 9 #2 Posted July 9 That double save was unreal, Kobel really kept them in it single-handedly
doseori Posted July 9 #3 Posted July 9 Absolute wall tonight, no way that second one stays out without him
pyxus1 Posted July 9 #4 Posted July 9 Man was on a different planet tonight, that second reaction stop was pure instinct 🔥
peltari Posted July 9 #5 Posted July 9 Kobel's been low-key carrying them all season, finally getting the spotlight he deserves
Kyrixtia Posted July 10 #6 Posted July 10 That double stop was solid but I still thinnk the initial parry was more impressive, reading the striker's foot so early made the second one possible.
woonaylyn Posted July 10 #7 Posted July 10 I actually rate the first stop higher, that read was so quick it made the rebound save look easy.
Sydneyioax Posted July 10 #8 Posted July 10 That dive was flashy but he kind of spilled the first one, a tidy hold would have avoided all the fuss.
ivoryolrel Posted July 10 #9 Posted July 10 The way he read the striker's body shape reminded me of a save I pulled off in Sunday league once, fully committed to the wrong side but adjusted mid dive because the guy opened his hips way too early.
larsen Posted July 10 #10 Posted July 10 I remember my old keeper coah always yelling to watch the hips not the eyes, and that save was a perfect example of why.
StarMaster Posted July 11 #12 Posted July 11 kobel was realy in goat mode there ngl, that second reaction save had me losing it ?
Ravmia Posted July 11 #13 Posted July 11 Yeah it was a strong reflex stop but the initial positioning semed a touch off, he had to scramble more than I think he'd have liked. Still got the job done though so credit where it's due.
voxenne0 Posted July 11 #14 Posted July 11 The way he clawed that out mid dive really did look like pure instinct.
legacyan255 Posted July 11 #15 Posted July 11 That second reaction stop honestly reminded me of a handball match I watched where the goalie basically sat down mid air and still got a foot up. My own most satisfying save was off a penalty in a five a side game, I guessed left way too early but managed to push it over with my trailing hand purely out of spite.
frankiique Posted July 11 #16 Posted July 11 That fingertip save really did make time slow down for a moment.
Pyxevlor Posted July 11 #17 Posted July 11 Was solid but the ball was hit straight at him really, keeper made it look flashier than it was.
Diverted Posted July 11 #18 Posted July 11 Moments like that remind you why Kobel is considered one of the best goalkeepers around.
Hollowaein Posted July 12 #21 Posted July 12 Honestly I get why people say it was straight at him but Kobel still had to read the shot and react with perfect positioning. That kind of composure beats a flashy dive that comes from being out of place any day.
Seleneosin9 Posted July 12 #22 Posted July 12 do you think he raed the striker's body language or was it pure instinct?
vyntia Posted July 12 #23 Posted July 12 He did read the danger early but the finish lacked any real power or placement.
ace63zko Posted July 12 #24 Posted July 12 kobel was tehin a wall fr, that second stop had me losing it ?
mooeily3 Posted July 12 #25 Posted July 12 He stood tall when he had to but the shot really didn't make him work that hard, kinda just funneled right into his midsection without much venom on it
