Is building a 1.50 to 2.00 odds accumulator daily viable?

I’m trying to test a strategy where I combine just 2 or 3 very safe games to get around 1.50 to 2.00 odds total, instead of chasing huge accumulators. Has anyone tried doing this long-term with a disciplined bankroll, or do the occasional upsets still ruin the profit?
