First you shift every letter backwards by 4 (TEFCS -> PABYO), and then every letter backwards by 2 (PABYO -> NYZWM), and then, following the pattern, every letter back by 1: MXYVL. But I don't know for sure that this is correct.

TEFCS = 20 5 6 3 19 PABYO = 16 1 2 25 15 NYZWM = 14 25 26 23 13 from the first set of number minus each number by 4 and you'll get the next set of numbers then minus each by 2, and you'll get the last given number. So there will be 2 tries to be made. First is to add 8 on the first set of number (to follow the sequence) or subtract 1 from the last set of number (to still follow the sequence)
