Discord giveaway, chance of winning.

Hey stakers,

On this post, i would like to hear some of your thoughts about the current Discord giveaway.

Have you joined stake discord channel and participate for the free coins giveaway?

Have you won any of the rounds since joining the giveaway?

Do you participate daily or only when you feel the need to?

Have you felt unmotivated in trying to win when you see the same small group of players are winning everyday?

Do you feel like it changes could be made in order for everyone to have a winning chance?

I have been a part of this current discord giveaway since it first went up and have reached the legendary rank.. i diligently worked in wagering and getting the invites i needed in order to reach that level.. so far i have won several rounds on every level, but its been a while since the last time that happened.. i know there are several players whos never won or perhaps had one or two wins since joining and it could get frustrating.. especially when there are players who are winning almost every day or every rank and some even back to back.. its easy to get unmotivated in even participating for working on getting at higher ranks.. even i sometimes ask what is the point?..  you spend days trying to no avail.. at some point in time, it starts to get discouraging and losing hope of ever winning that you completely stop or forget to even try..

Its been said that its all picked randomly by the bot, and there is nothing wrong with that.. i just wish there was some sort of way so that every player who participates gets more of an opportunity to win rather than having the same players reaping the benifit.. like how the faucet has a limit of how many times you can collect in a time frame.. and once you have reached that limit, there would be a cooldown period of you having to wait for it to run out until you may collect again.. i believe if that would be implemented for the discord giveaway, it would make it more likely for other players to have a winning chance..

What are you thoughts about this?

I've been a part of discord from start until the time change for specific giveaways, participating everyday from 6-10 hours, never won. Now its just muted. I join every now and then but with no expectations.

The cooldown suggestion is an incredibly good solution to prevent multiple wins. 

However, since there was no abuse involved... would players be okay with such an implementation? 

The only negative about this would be depending on how many wins before players are excluded from gw... and also since the time in between each one has been extended - exclusion from legendary would mean a long time of not being able to participate. 😥

Yeah, sorry buddy.. this is what i mean... more and more are getting discouraged in even trying since it feels like almost impossible to win..

Well, as a legendary, even if you do reach the limit, there are 3 other ranks for you to win.. that would be the benifit and drive for others to actually reach that rank.. also, its not like everyone are able to win legendary all the time.. ive won once since joining it.. by the time i win again, if the cooldown was implemented, it would be over by now, and still have not won.. so i do not see the difference really.. if there was a cool down, atlease players would have a higher chance in winning for somethink they had to work for to achieve.. would that make sense?.. what would drive other players in wagering 5 btc, inviting people and posting over a hundred posts on forum, when in the back of their mind, they may never even get the chance om winning it, so whats the point? do you know what i mean?.. its not very motivating to see the same player cycled in winning the ranks..

I won like 3 or 4 VIPs then one legendary. But thats about it.

I used to join every single giveaway for 12 hrs daily!! But I dont do that anymore... The increased waiting time is hard to track for me. Before it just was every hour enter once and then youre done now you need to enter every other hour...

Have you felt unmotivated in trying to win when you see the same small group of players are winning everyday?

I definitely got unmotivated by the high timers nowadays on the giveaways. It seems sooo long to wait for one single prize.

Do you feel like it changes could be made in order for everyone to have a winning chance?

I thought about a better system but I actually didnt find any better idea than to put all the money thats currently split up for all giveaways in one big pot and do like 2 or 3 winners for it!

lol bro, the point was to make the benifit of this giveaways available to more players.. not to limit it to an even smaller numbers.. thats just greed.. and would make it even more difficult for anyone to even win.. unless a system is implemented that would prevent players from repeating wins over and over.. theres a good chance that some players will never win it at all, just like Brainy..there other players like him, thats never had this opportunity.. what i was suggesting is to share the love.. not get more of it! hahaha

I used to win it fairly often when they did the hourly giveaways. But with the current system, I win about once a week if I'm lucky. I wish they would make all the giveaways hourly again...

I joined all discord role giveaway and i win some already but i never win on the legendary one. I don't know why some people is so lucky and so easy to win lol, saw the same people again and again

in the beginning when it was every hour 5 bucks.. i won right wen i joined... then it was broken down to exclusive,public etc.. won once on exclusive 2$...now the 3hrs or more 1 time..but stopped entering..because the length to re enter is long.. and it seems like same people keeps winning..i mean can we change seeds before we enter the give away...

So far on this discord giveaway although i participate about 3 times a day i won only once.i see many guys win two or three times in row.i participate only on public because  although i invited ppl i can participate.on more

for the current system that has changed the clock, I have never gotten a victory in the giveaway discord, in my opinion the time is a lot of time consuming, maybe it's better that GA discord be held once a day lmao 🤣

ever since the changes done to the hourly being changed to ilke 4 times a day or something like that the chances to win  have dramatically been reduced.

on top of that the amounts have been slashed too.  meh.. idk 

ive only won 2 times i think since these changes and its just discouraging imo but glad i won those times of course.

I actually believe this would be a good addition to the discord since the giveaways should be distributed to every person equally and not just one same person who is a newbie like twice or thrice.

i think so too... its just been the same small group of players that wins on every rank.. like myself who is constantly joining each rank.. 4 chances to win... and still i struggle to even win any.. i can only imagine the ones who havent reached higher ranks.. their chances of winning is slim to none.. and that really doesnt make anyone motivated to even reach other ranks.. i wish there would be changes in how much a player wins.. seeing back to back wins.. and sometimes a single player winning 2-3 different ranks at the same time is just frustrating.. especially when the timers are so long.. having the same one winning.. just isnt fair for others thats been trying for weeks to even get 1..

Maybe because you don't stay active on Discord and don't chat like others ? It could be one of the reasons that the bot is trying to avoid you i ain't sure but could be a chance.

has nothing to do with it.. the bot chooses randomly using its own algorithim.. being active in chat, forum, has nothing to do with winning the lottery.. i know some of the repeat winners barely chats on discord.. only on clicking..

i can only do the regualer giveaways. they dont seem that difficult to win even though i have never won one it would still seem like if 30 people enter you still have a 3,33% chance of winning. this obviously might feel like you loosing endlessly but again it is a gambling site. everything is about the odds and luck
