Raxolori Posted July 10 #2 Posted July 10 The word "basic" made me think of how most platforms skip the real beginner steps entirely.
krxaeienne Posted July 10 #3 Posted July 10 I always found it strange how these platforms assume people just know what terms like "wagering requirement" or "turnover" mean right away. The jump from "here's how to deposit" to "here's a bonus you can't withdraw" is wild.
rauls60o9e5 Posted July 11 #4 Posted July 11 yeah fr most sites throw newbies in teh deep end, a simple glossary would help a ton ngl ?
kovaanund6 Posted July 11 #6 Posted July 11 Last week my cousin tried to depoosit 500 bucks and accidentally locked the bonus without realizing you have to play through it 25 times on slots only
zylver17 Posted July 11 #7 Posted July 11 Honestly my first time i thought "money based games" meant like Monopoly or something until i signed up and saw slots lol
Opinicus5 Posted July 11 #8 Posted July 11 do you think these sites should have a test or tutorial before you can even place a bet, seems like most people learn the hard way throuugh mistakes
onyxarys Posted July 11 #9 Posted July 11 Honestly I think the "test before betting" idea is a bit much, most ppl would just clik through it anyway.
Gladetha Posted July 11 #10 Posted July 11 The whole industry relies on people skipping the terms and then acting surprised when their balance evaporates behind a 40x rollover they never read.
okolodo Posted July 11 #11 Posted July 11 We need a course. like those introduction to FOREX trading hahaha
ladyora Posted July 11 #12 Posted July 11 Honestly a forced tutorial would just be a popup people spam click past, but a quick video showing the rollover in actual cash terms might at least make some beginners pause before they yeet their deposit into a bonus trrap
Havenorlia Posted July 11 #13 Posted July 11 Stick to sites that show your wagering progress clearly on the main dashbaord so you dont accidentally miss a deadline.
winesap6 Posted July 11 #14 Posted July 11 I get the frustration with complex rollovers but I actually think the real issue isn't a lack of tutorials, it's how sites bury the actual cost of a bonus behind vague percentage numbers. A popup video would just be another thing to ignore because the real lesson is only learned when you see your balance stuck behind a 35x requirement for the first time.
Frankitia Posted July 11 #15 Posted July 11 Honestly a quick explainer wouldnt hurt but id rather they just put a big flashing number showing your actual rollover left. I made the mistake once of thinkin i was close to clearing a bonus and it was only 30% done because of how the games counted differntly.
zyxureon Posted July 12 #16 Posted July 12 honestly the first time i did a bonus i thought the rollover was just the bonus amount itself, not bonus plus deposit timees forty. felt so stupid staring at the remaining wagering figure.
dekiros Posted July 12 #17 Posted July 12 no cap the wagering stuff is lowkey sneaky, they rly should make that clear before u click deposit ?
pelturra Posted July 13 #18 Posted July 13 saw a +350 odds slip clear first try, rollover didnt even matter
